Nice hot cooked chickens, sausages and other daily specials... the hot meat loafs, chicken pot pies all look excellent take home meals... My roast beef with cheese, onions or lettuce, tomato mayo or mustard always goi for 7.95 plus cheese for 8.49 a perfect lunch size sandwich. The turkey or ham also good options. My Mom loves a Greek salad and when she saw the variety at Fells of prepared foods she was in heaven. The cold salads have nice variety and flavor. But the soups and fresh prepared meals made it easy and healthy! The service was excellent, personalized throughout. And wow, such a variety of gluten free meals and products. This place is AMAZING! Gourmet Foodie heaven with more goodies than seem possible in one little space. It does not look like much from the outside but once you are in- such delicious stuff. This unassuming market is such a blast form the past. This family run business not only has the basic groceries but they have fresh meats, cooked foods & a great deli. Doesn't sound that remarkable until you taste the food they make. Try the good Chinese ribs & barbecue chicken. It's clean, simple, tasty & always served with a genuine smile. They even make home deliveries!!! Beyond the higher prices you see for some items, the things they carry are thoughtfully selected & fresh. It's probably my own fault for grabbing a pre-made sandwich, but I did, and I had to throw it out. It was supposed to be a grilled chicken caesar wrap, but the wrap was so saturated in water that I could barely cut it open and the lettuce and croutons and what little chicken was in there was completely inedible. I don't know if I'll ever be back, but if I do I'll try a fresh one from the deli instead of the cooler. read more

Fells is a family owned store, predominately run by two brothers. They are exceptionally kind to all of their customers, carrying out groceries by hand when needed and even making home deliveries. Their products are carefully selected and they are always welcome to suggestions. Above all else Fells will make you feel right at home and you are bound to leave laughing. Whenever in a bind these guys have your back! I cannot say enough good about Fells Market, but to keep my review short I promise they can do no wrong. A treasure in a world full of quicki-marts. The market is well stocked, but the deli is the real jewel; especially the meats. The quality of their meat is exceptional and they take special orders. We've ordered steak tips, kabobs, meat for osso buco, etc. and have always been satisfied. Prices are appropriate for the quality and the convenience. read more

Great old school deli/market. This place has all the things you need plus amazing deli selection for meats to grill. They also make their own roast beef on site, which is hands down the best I have had in a long time on a roll with some hot peppers. If you are having a cookout or on the way to one, stop in and grab some steak tips, chicken, or burgers. They have it all. A great go-to market in the area! Love that it is family owned and tries to bring local foods to their shelves. The recent alcohol section addition was a game changer for Wellesley, as this was the first store to successfully get an alcohol license. Fells is perfect for stopping by and picking up some basic groceries! However, I had recently had several irritating experiences with the clerks working there. I love Fells for their wine selection. The last two times I've entered the store (once to pick up some groceries/wine for home, another to grab a bottle for a friend's party) a group of two or three male clerks immediately followed me into the liquor section and loitered around me while I perused. I'm not sure if they thought I was below 21 years of age, or if they for some reason believed I was a shoplifting risk? I'm 25 and don't appreciate three clerks breathing down my neck while I'm trying to make a purchase. Last time I was in, one man proceeded to *stealthily* follow me over to the register as I paid and left the store. TWICE in a row this has happened, and an acquaintance of mine told me she's had a very similar experience at Fells. Not a great way to treat your paying customers! Definitely going elsewhere for now on. read more
