My husband's brother passed away and his employer ordered an arrangement from this business to be…read moredelivered to our home in London. Petals of Love left us a phone message at 12:20 p.m and I returned their call within 2 hours. I was told they could not deliver it that day and I told them we would be home the next day, Saturday. She informed me that they don't deliver to London on Saturdays and it would have to be Monday. I replied that no one would be home Monday as we work so she told me it would have to wait until the following Saturday or they could just leave it at the door. I was not comfortable having the arrangement just left on the doorstep in case it was taken or the weather was too cold. I asked her to call the sender and ask if that was okay with them that the berevement arrangement would not be delivered for over a week and to please call me back. Almost a week went by and I did not hear back from Petals of Love. Today, the day before the delivery was to be done (A week late), I received a phone message from Petals of Love stating that they could not do the delivery after all and I was to call to reschedule. I called back and told them that this was terrible customer service during a very sad time in our lives and to please cancel the order and refund the money to the sender as they are unable to deliver to London. The woman today apologized but the first time I called to arrange delivery the woman was very rude and told me that delivery was at their convenience not the customers. It is very sad to me that an independent business cares so very little for their customers and made a sad time in our lives even more stressful.

I adore succulents because they thrive on neglect. They don't need much water and if they are in a…read morenice sunny spot some of them will even reward you with flowers. They multiply like crazy and are easy to grow from cuttings. You can find them in many different shapes and colors. I was excited to finally visit Grow Something. They are only open on Wed, Sat and Sun from noon to 6pm. Don't bother knocking on the door just walk through the narrow alley way to the right of the white house with the black and white striped awning. In the back of the house there's a small greenhouse where you'll find most of the plants that are for sale. There are many varieties that you will not see anywhere else. A little pricey but if you are a collector, this is the perfect place for you. Their plants are healthy and well taken care of. Besides consulting services, they also design planters, hanging baskets, party favors and table center pieces. They will even repot or transplant your plant when it has outgrown its pot. If you have a question, ask away, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

It's a little unconventional where the owners run their store out of the backyard of their home, but it's super cool! Thanks to all the Yelpers with their tips and reviews, I knew to just go straight to the backyard and marvel over their tiny little greenhouse. Inside are hundreds and hundreds of succulents in various sizes ranging from babies to big boys. I came here because I ordered from the site and went in for pick up; I wasn't sure if it would be fruitful if I dropped in. But I highly recommend visiting as you can see the plants in person and she said it's about 50 cents cheaper per plant than buying online. The only thing I would say is that it was hard to recognize a lot of the plants, especially if you don't know the species. I'm pretty knowledgeable about this topic, and because many of the plants aren't sun stressed to their full potential, they end up looking like each other a lot and I definitely had to ask quite a few times which plant was what. Before coming, I definitely recommend perusing the site and seeing which plants you'd like and then asking her to help you locate them as she knows best! Highly recommended as she had quite a few rare species.
