Gorgeous italian style restaurant right near the Dorman Museum, beware that parking may be an issue as there is no direct parking outside. It may also be advisable to make an advance booking as it can get quite full. It's very small inside and the tables are close together. The wait for food literally depends on your party size. We went with quite a large party and found ourselves waiting quite a while. The food is really good quality though a little pricy. There's a big array of pizzas and pastas and other italian foods. The desserts are nice though the choice of ice cream for children is very limited. The staff are really nice here and polite. Generally a nice spot for birthdays and celebrations. There is also an upstairs to hire out. read more

I have only been to Fellini's once; it is located quite far up Linthorpe road on a corner beside central part restaurant. Even though it is out of the way a little is still seems to get a good bit of custom, perhaps this is partly due to it being situated on a busy junction. Personally I found the restaurants décor to be very nice, it has a downstairs which is full of table where you would dine, and there is also a bar up stars. There have quite a vast menu with everything sounding delicious. When I went I had the garlic Mushrooms for a starter and a Callezoni Pizza for my main. If I was to go to this restaurant again I would be very tempted to order exactly the same thing as it was delicious. The other 3 people in my party had other dished and they were equally impressed. There was a little wait between the started and the main but the building was packed as it was a Saturday night. The staff were all very polite and friendly and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. The prices here a little higher than other restaurants in the area but to be fair the food was also of a higher standard. read more

fellini's is not a patch on central park situated two doors away!! When i went the food was way too hot and it burnt your mouth. staff do not have much character and does not feel like a relaxing atmosphere. read more

my family and i have been dining at fellinis, the best 5 star restaurant in middlesbrough for a good few years now, it has always been a delightful place with the most beautiful italian food. good place to take the kids. the decor needs a bit of a touch up and the tables could be a bit more apart but for anything else it rates perfect for us. read more

My main of stuffed Rabbit saddle, Wood Pigeon breast & Italian sausage on Polenta & gravy was cooked to perfection, really nice with good, strong flavours. And once again a really decent helping. Although the inside of the building is not the classiest or even most chic decorated I have ever seen there is still a nice feeling of a warming atmosphere. We wee seated almost immediately and out drinks arrive several minutes after, at times it does get quite busy so if you are in a party I would strongly recommend booking a table otherwise you might be stood waiting for a while. Many other restaurants that I have been to don't offer authentic Italian food, I ordered the lasagne and I absolutely loved it and if I go again I'm certain this is what I will order. Surprisingly the food is quite reasonably priced. Definitely another one to visit

They were full but managed to reserve us a table at 8.30. Arriving a little early, the weather was slightly inclement (OK it was peeing down), we were guided to the bar for a pre-dinner drink. I now realise why Northerners complain about London prices. A double Grey Goose vodka for £4.50, a no brainer. At 8.30 exactly, our table was ready. Fantastic menu, delicious food and impeccable service. To start I ordered antipasto for one. This plateful arrived. The waitress explained that this was for one, with a smile. Obviously, the kitchen had made a mistake and plated up for two. One the final bill, antipasto for one. I cannot recommend this restaurant any more, almost a five star in my opinion. Only drawback was the final coffee was very bitter. However, a minor drawback. Great Italian atmosphere, noisy but welcoming.

The Europa Restaurant is known in the local area for their value for money and offering the best Parmos in town. The Europa is located on Borough Road; they offer a variety of home cooked meals which are always popular. On a weekend the atmosphere in this restaurant is extremely lively, most of the people here have been out drinking all day/night and now fancy something nice to eat. In saying that that atmosphere is not a bad one it may be rowdy but it is not offensive by any means. If you are ever in Middlesbrough then you have to try this restaurant

it's a joke to see central park get better reviews than this place and i suspect the reviews are from people with a vested interest. to compare, everytime i have been to central park the staff including management have been borderline rude if not outright rude (surly, indifferent and short) the wait for food has been an age each time despite various party sizes and visiting both on and off peak time. food was of a very poor standard, cold watery calzones (microwave probably wasnt turned up right), manky parmesans and gristly steaks to name a few bad experiences. table service poor having to repeatedly confirm orders, virtually shout to get any attention for further drinks and so on. i only ever end up going because a friend insists on eating there each time he comes home. now if he was willing to try fellinis he would experience first class service (friendly and efficient), far superior food (seemed a lot better quality and fresher as well as tastier) and not having to rely on portion sizes to make some impression. portion sizes are fine at fellinis and i have a very healthy appetite. i suppose if you look through the window of central park and see some of the lard arse chavs eating there and then go through to fellinis and see a better class of customer that should tell you all you need to know. desserts and wines are also better at fellinis. central park is the worst of the italian restaurants in boro, even worse than al forno. i would eat out of the bins at fellinis before i go back to central park. read more

My family first started to go to Fellinis ten years ago because we couln't get into Central Park. The staff were welcoming and friendly, children were treated with as mush respect as adults. We have been on Valentines day, Mothers day and special family occoasions. Just recently when I couldn't attend a collegue's pre wedding lunch, I asked if Fellinis they would provide a extra special desert for the Bride to be, without extra charge they made a fantastic display of a chocolate desert and an entrance fanfare of suitable music. The food and prices have always been excellent with good protions. What I like most about Fellinis is the fact that bums on seats for a quick turn over don't matter to them. You can sit over and after a meal for as long you want without being hurried out. Keep up the good wotk Fellinis read more

Service was OK but feel completely ripped off with the food! The portion sizes are half of what you would get from Central Park, however they cost the same! A small Parmesan was about the size of the palm of your hand, I thought they were joking when he put the plate in front of me! To add insult to injury, when the bill came, they had charged us for a large one. We go to Central Park quite regularly and fancied a change for once. I wish I had just gone to CP where I know the food is worth every penny. Overall, if you are hungry, don't go to Fellini's. If you want value for money and would like to full when you leave, go to Central Park. read more

Fellinis is always friendly, great food and great service. They have a goodchoice on the main menu and like to use local ingredients and produce. There are always specials too if you fancy something different. I've used this restaurant many times over many years and always enjoyed it. I like the option of a 1/2 portion of pasta as a starter and my favourite dish is the Quattro Stagione Pizza! Family friendly with fantastic meals and deals for kids. read more
