We were anxious to try this for a long time, having read rave reviews. It was hard to get a reservation, so we waited til midnight on the first of the month and scored a Sunday evening through Open Table. Our party of four had one unvaccinated member, so thankfully, the manager helped us by bypassing the luxurious main dining room and sitting on the patio, which we didn't mind at all. I started with a fun gin cocktail, then ordered wine for the table (a luscious Italian red from an extensive, impressive wine list). Rather than try to list the fancy Italian names of all the dishes, I'll keep it simple: first came an amazing Focaccia that was gobbled up quickly. We were curious about all the fresh pastas and just rolled the dice with the pappardelle and it was authentically wonderful. We also ordered an uniquely tasty pizza with lemon. The prawns from the antipasti list was a great option for our gluten free guest. Since it was my birthday, I ordered an expensive rib eye and it was everything I expected-- perfectly cooked and flavorful. Our server was very attentive and helpful. read more
