Avoid at all costs if you value your life. This individual is arrogant, ignorant and intolerant. He changed my 30 year diagnosis without ever speaking to me. He took me off all of my meds and put me on oxycarb...something I don't care to remember. The chemical manipulation of my brain required days of recovery after 5 days in his "care". read more

He has broken are whole family he didn't care he was mad for years that our adult daughter who lived with us all her life was still living at home due to learning disabilities and was angry she had an older sibling who was born with learning disabilities due to a cord around her neck at time of her birth, he committed our 2nd daughter 3 times over the years for her disagreement for saying she felt like he not listening and going to one diagnosis only because he only thinks all women have bipolar it couldn't be anything else he hates women, in the office he rushes and just gives medicine without listening , he says all women are idiots and bipolar even if the woman is not bipolar he try to say my oldest daughter was at fault for her sibling downfalls and it's not my oldest adult daughter fault for her birth issues. read more

Dr Su misdiagnosed my daughter, and when she told him the meds he prescribed are causing suicidal ideation, he yellat her, "Who do you think you are to question me!?" She left the office in tears. He refused to listen to her concerns. What a narcissistic, uncaring person! Clearly, she will not be back to see this sorry excuse for a psychiatrist. read more

I moved to champaign and needed a psychiatrist in the area who could continue prescribing my…read moreMethylphenidate. I was on 10mg 3x per day. I asked Dr Lo if there was a long acting form of the same drug so I would not accidentally forget to bring my pill bottle with me everywhere. He prescribed me a 30mg Vyvanse and 100mg Fluvoxamine. I would take the Vyvanse at around 8am and it would keep me awake until 3am. At around 11pm I would take the Fluvoxamine and i would wake up at 6am. I was miserable with no sleep. Dr Lo told me if I had an adverse reaction to the medication I could discontinue it and call him. I scheduled an appointment with him and told him the medication was adversely affecting me so I discontinued it. I was under the impression he thought I was being noncompliant with his treatment. He was extremely rude and I never went back to him. All he cares about is making money. I looked him up on https://projects.propublica.org/docdollars/doctors/pid/290471 and found out he was paid about $1000 dollars from various prescription companies to endorse their drugs. He is also the student psychiatrist at EIU. I've heard through the grape vine that his parents own 250,000 acres of land and are ultra wealthy. He is disconnected with what it's like to be a normal citizen and is incompetent of accurately diagnosing problems in my opinion.

Dr Su refused to listen to my daughter's concerns about being misdiagnosed, and that the meds he was prescribing were making her suicidal ideation worse. He yelled at her, saying "Who do you think you are to question me!?" She won't be back to see him, obviously. We can't give him a zero star review, We'll have to go with one star. Avoid this uncaring, narcissistic man. read more

However, I received a $50 fee for a cancellation that I made on 8/20/19 at 4:56PM. The appointment was set for the very next day on 8/21/19 at 4:00PM. Mind you, I was FIFTY-SIX MINUTES late to cancel the appointment within 24 hours like their office requires. However, as they said she would, Molly, the office manager, called me about the issue I had with their bill not sent to me on time. It turned out that I had a credit of $100 for overpaying, so the $50 covered that late cancellation, and they're paying me $50, which should be in the mail soon. Kudos to KPT for fixing my issue so quickly. The second point I wanted to bring up is that my counselor called me personally to correct the situation! What a light she is, Karen Jones! She helped me with so many troubling things and the worst of which was to stop being so hard on myself!!! Thank you KPT! Keep lighting up clients' worlds and showing them strategies for improving their lives from the inside out!

In Aug of 2022 I went to see Trisha and after our talk I left with hope that I hadn't had for 2 years. It was amazing that someone who I hadn't even met before could care so much to understand me and give me hope as well as the tools to get better. I am now doing very well and have experienced 10 weeks with no depression. I have been so impressed by Trisha's help that I have referred her to several other friends, who have been also impressed with the help they are receiving from her. She is not only a listening ear, but she also trains you and gives you the tools to take care of yourself. Thank you, Kerri Powell, for hiring such caring and helpful people.
