The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. We got to sit and enjoy our coffee and treats in a relaxing way. Five out of five!

Rheingold more than delivered and was a brief 10 minute walk from our hotel (The Holiday Inn Express). We ordere the well acclaimed meal rolls and vegetarian rolls (both a smash), the chicken curry with a coconut milk soaked bread mixed in, and a few various salad options that were fantastic. The meal is a fantastic culinary adventure for the more than fair prices. Also, our server, Beno, spoke flawless English and was more than amenable to the floundering English speakers and explaining menu items (it was only our second day in Germany.) Our server even ended up giving us tips on where to visit in Augsburg. The meal was such a fantastic smash in terms of service and food that my family considered driving all the way back to Augsburg from Frankfurt for the remaining low-key/no-plans day we had. If you're looking for fantastic food and/or a late night option and/or great service with a good drink selection and nice low-key area, head here. And if you're staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Nagahama, just come here and don't worry about it.
