I had a whole house to design: remodeling and furnishing over 2100 square feet from floor to ceiling, this was a daunting assignment. Fortunately, I found Dekorati Interiors through my realtor friend. Rati and her team went far beyond my expectations, not only in designing every inch of my home, but in managing the entire project. With her expertise, we remodeled my entire home. I wanted my space to have a feel of our heritage along with my love for traditional pieces. She was able to create a very classic design with exquisite sourced furnishing pieces and custom details. She has an amazing eye for design, color, composition, placement and how to engage you in her thorough process. Her Design meetings were very descriptive & detailed. One of my favorite parts is the staircase wallpaper depicting our rich Indian cultural element. In short she was able to capture and manifest everything I could've possibly desired in my renovated home. Each room feels comfortable and organic but is also perfectly in sync with an elegant aesthetic . She has a very detailed document for the Contractors to follow for the Remodel and renovation that makes all custom details very easy for them to follow and implement. But whenever there is a confusion or question she herself or someone from her team will be there to address it. However, what sets them apart is the customer experience you get. Everyone on her team is extremely professional, while being friendly and warm. They hold themselves to the highest standard and it is a joy to work with them. She has a design aesthetic which is very custom to the clients and helps make their dream home a reality.

From the very beginning, Rati was able to understand our taste and requirements and started proposing the changes. The scope was big, as we decided to do entryway, kitchen, dining, powder room, living, loft and master bedroom. During our design review meetings (which ran 3 hours), she was well prepared with her design boards and presented us all the options, her preferences and cost details. Coming out of each meeting, we knew significant progress was made. She presented new ideas and designs that we would not have chosen or thought of ourselves. Rati was very responsive during the entire process - either through emails, texts, phone calls.  She has completely transformed our place. We needed more seating in our living area, and she was able to create that without making the area overly crowded. Our loft got transformed into a fully functional area for informal family seating. All you need is getting your contractors and have them implement the design/decor that Rati suggests.  As the project progressed, I wish she had brought up budget constraints in consideration. Final installation was hard to do on video calls, and we wished she was present. Given how she has transformed our place, we would still recommend Rati. She has impeccable taste and aesthetic sense. Anyone who comes to our abode cannot stop appreciating it.

Shawn took a look around, listened to what I had in mind, and thankfully told me what would or wouldn't work. He picked a beautiful quartz counter top, gave me options to choose from for the paint, faucet and hardware. He has a great team working for him. They were respectful and trustworthy. The refinished cabinets look like new. They do high quality work. He made his best effort to get things done within the time frame discussed but, as with any renovation, there were some unexpected issues that led to minor delays and affected cost. I really appreciated how his main concern was that I was happy with the end result. Before and in process photos attached (forgot to take a picture of the final product and don't want to clean the kitchen right now).

We've now been in our finished kitchen and house for a few months and love it more every day. We still can't believe the transformation and beyond the beautiful upgrade across the board, his design and recommendations made it SO much more functional. From the design process to communication and his project manager/workers, everyone was a true professional. No kitchen horror stories and they finished exactly on time. There of course are small things that came up in communication between what we decided with Shawn (keeping our dishwasher) and what the workers on site knew about (tried to give it away 2x), but that is common in any project, and most important to us is every small thing we noticed/flagged was fixed without question. We've already referred Shawn to anyone who asks. He took our space from a very dated 1960s vibe to modern but with character, and a design that matches our ranch style home. Thank you Shawn for making our house feel like us!

I can confidently say her services are worth every penny. Miranda has an incredible eye for design and an innate ability to see the full potential of a space. The way she and her team decorated and arranged each element blew us away--we kept asking ourselves, "Why didn't we think of that?" She didn't just stage our home; she completely transformed its aesthetic. Every room felt elevated, cohesive, and intentional, yet still warm and inviting. She knew exactly how to highlight the home's best features, improve flow, and make each space feel both stylish and livable. Our listing stood out from comparable properties and made a strong emotional impression on everyone who walked through the door. Thanks in large part to Miranda's work, we received multiple offers and ultimately sold our home for top dollar. Her staging didn't just make the house look beautiful, it directly contributed to a faster sale and a stronger financial result.

But the goal was to sell the house. Her staging is what made the house tell its story to sell on it's first weekend. This meant not having to keep living through a staged house for so long. It is amazing to have had to get the house staged then it sells on its first weekend of open house! That pretty much says it all. She knows it take 8 seconds for a buyer to enter the home and determine if they like it or not. She made impact for the house and it sold!

A huge thank you to Henry and his team at Ridgecrest designs!…read more We spent almost 5 years trying to get permits to build a workshop/garage in our back yard only to get completely shut down by Cal Fire. With a two-acre lot and only one house, this should not have been a problem. Our last and final attempt was to find a local contractor that was familiar with the rules and regulations in our area. After a phone call with Henry, we had a good feeling that he could get the project going in the right direction. Ridgecrest Designs was able to carefully design a beautiful shop and detached garage that would comply with all the local requirements and give us a good chance with Cal Fire. Then the real work started! It took about a year of back and forth with several site visits from local agencies and Cal Fire, before we were able to get the required permits. This process involved a huge effort by Henry and his team. I believe this was successful because Ridgecrest could handle every aspect of project from concept to final sign off. After permits were acquired, the building process started. Once again, we were pleasantly surprised how smoothly and easily this process went. The upfront planning by the Ridgecrest team really paid off! As construction started, all the sub-contractors involved were very professional and efficient. Even the numerus on-the-fly changes we asked for, were handled quickly and easily. Throughout the whole process, communication was excellent. Any questions or concerns were handled quickly and professionally, every time. All permitting and legal requirements were completely handled by the Ridgecrest team. The end result is absolutely fantastic. We are very pleased with the finished product

Ron L. After using…read moreHenry's so called designed team and having him oversee the plans to build my custom home, I realized he and his team really lack knowledge in custom home building. So, Henry's team consist of people who do not directly work for him, therefore the designer who worked for us used Sketch-up and really lacked professionalism, AIA designs, construction concepts, building codes, and construction methods needed to push through planning department in order to pull a permit. Madison who performed our design argued with my wife when my wife specifically requested what she wanted. When you sign-on with Henry and the Sketch-up team, you are signing up for his team to design a project that will always go over budget. Their initial cost to perform a design doesn't include meetings, changes, and even many design errors that she made. All design problems and mistakes that THEY clearly make, turns out to be extra cost to cover Henry for his cost for the designer, which is $225.00 and hour. Example of one of many mistakes his designer Madison, drew the fireplace off center (by +1') of the vaulted ceiling then drew the chimney roof stack in the middle of the roof valley. When I asked about it, Henry emailed me telling me how to speak to the designed. It became apparent how their lack of construction knowledge turned into my problem. My new home design was raised floor from garage, so the designer drew steps from back level yard down into my garage. When I question it, Henry and Madison wanted to turn the issue into a now cost mistake that I had to pay for. As a builder and licensed contractor for over 30 years, I've seen and worked with many talented people, but Henry isn't one of them. Henry is propped up with social media reviews and you-tube videos showing his talents, but most people see through that once a problem occurs. Talented contractors have years of experience in construction methods, inspections call-outs, education through trade schools/college, hands on carpentry, and many regulatory issues that come up as a talented contractor. Brain S. who also provided a review was spot-on with who Henry is. Words like condescending, lack of integrity, and hard to work with barely scratch the surface of who you should not be working with. So, the real question is why so many good reviews, well that's easy to do these days. Get an email or pay monthly cost to Houzz and no telling how many five star reviews you can get. And as far as solid construction experience, don't confuse it with a great picture, AI generated drawings/videos that are easy to create. Go out and meet his construction team and vendors he works with. According to what Henry's licensed, it showed he doesn't carry workers compensation, so the brilliant team he hires are all subcontractors and probably his design team as well. As a builder for many years, experience through large commercial and residential projects, Henry lacks construction experience, and most importantly he isn't nice. I found his behavior and personality of a narcissist. If you're thinking about using this character- DO NOT. Please hire a professional AIA Architect and contractor with true construction design experience and a professional attitude.

But from day one, Jill exceeded our expectations. The project involved tearing down an old, dilapidated screened-in porch that had never really worked for us -- too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer -- and transforming it into a usable interior room. We wanted to keep the light and airy feel of a porch while gaining insulation, comfort, and year-round usability. We also wanted ideas for built-ins: maybe a window seat, maybe bookshelves -- we weren't quite sure. Other contractors over the years had taken one look at the porch and declined to get involved due to its age and condition. Not Jill. She had ideas right away. Jill brings so much energy, creativity, and practical knowledge to the table. Even while juggling big personal commitments (like her son's graduation across the country), she delivered several strong design ideas within a few weeks -- and they were fresh, inspiring, and budget-conscious. She collaborated easily with our civil engineer, adjusting her drawings quickly to meet his needs. She also understands our local codes and regulations really well, and met directly with our contractors to make sure her designs were realistic and executable before we got too far into the process. On top of all that, Jill has a fantastic personality. She made the experience fun and engaging, and she brought a sense of momentum and confidence that really helped us move forward. I can't recommend Jill highly enough -- her creativity, responsiveness, and enthusiasm make her a true gem. If you're considering working with TANGERINEdesign LLC, you're in excellent hands.
