Frankly, I find it deeply concerning that this practice would: accept me as a patient, confirm we are in network, allow me to receive care and prescribe me medication over two years to then abruptly deny service over email two days before your appointment. This is an EGREGIOUS oversight that harmed no one but me, the patient seeking help. However, once in a while, you come across a mental health practitioner that brilliantly is able to invest the skills, experience, and commitment that should be required from all those in the field. Dr. Lynn Steinberg belongs in the latter group. The fact that she knows her stuff, based on extensive education, personal research, and experience from several years in the field, is not disputable. But she also possesses superior insight, unquestionable ethics, and dedication that goes above and beyond what is ordinarily expected or should be required of a professional in her field. Most important of all, unlike most other, Dr. Steinberg can make a distinction about staying clinical about her client, and bringing heart to the interaction. She is aware that the person sitting across from her during the sessions is a human being, and not a manifestation of some case study in some text book. There was no such court order, so she resorted to mocking and belittling him. He recorded the entire thing. This woman is nothing short of evil and her license should be revoked for the harm she causes in the name of profit - and likely her sadistic enjoyment of children's suffering.
