I had to change my provider a few times before meeting Dr. Won. Other helpful things to keep in mind: Unless you are looking for Spravato or medication requiring blood pressure or other active monitoring, virtual consultations are possible. She has two office admins who are very quick to respond to emails, help with appointments, and prescriptions. If need be, they also speak Korean fluently. Spravato is offered for in person visits and a private room with a reclining chair as well as soft music is provided along with heart rate monitoring. Please note that their in-person office hours are before 4PM on weekdays.

From the second visit onward, I was charged $150 for just six minutes. When I attempted to discuss my concerns, the doctor told me point-blank that he is not a physician who provides counseling. He suggested that I go find a doctor who actually does counseling, stating that his role is strictly limited to prescribing medication. I am baffled as to how a doctor can prescribe medication without engaging in any form of consultation. Had he made this clear during my first visit, I certainly would not have returned. All he cares about is making money. I absolutely do not recommend this unethical doctor.

I saw her because I was having extreme fatigue and back pain and my doctor never addresses my back pain and just refers me to physical therapy and OTC pain meds. Dr. Carol also found that my digestive system was weak and recommended some supplements that have helped me tremendously. She is also working with my 7yr old son who is on the spectrum and has been showing great improvement and he looks forward to seeing her each time. My 10 year old was also treated and she found that he was allergic to food additives and was breaking out in a rash and is now doing so much better. We love that our visits with Dr. Carol are painless and comforting! She is a true blessing and our 1 hour drive to see her is totally worth it.

Over the years I have cleared mold, bacterial infections and strenghtening my thyroid health as so many other things like clearing chemical toxins I wasnt even aware of that were throwing my body off. I always reccommend Carol to my family and friends and will forever be grateful for her wisdom, kindness and open Heart to heal so many in need.

I think most people would agree that a majority of therapists have no idea what they are doing…read more Their practice is to some buzzwords and generic phrases like "how do you feel inside when you say that," and other some such statements, which might as well have been generated by some app on your smartphone, with no insight or understanding attached. However, once in a while, you come across a mental health practitioner that brilliantly is able to invest the skills, experience, and commitment that should be required from all those in the field. Dr. Lynn Steinberg belongs in the latter group. The fact that she knows her stuff, based on extensive education, personal research, and experience from several years in the field, is not disputable. But she also possesses superior insight, unquestionable ethics, and dedication that goes above and beyond what is ordinarily expected or should be required of a professional in her field. Most important of all, unlike most other, Dr. Steinberg can make a distinction about staying clinical about her client, and bringing heart to the interaction. She is aware that the person sitting across from her during the sessions is a human being, and not a manifestation of some case study in some text book. She is kind and caring, but assertive when needed. I have been fortunate enough to see Dr. Steinberg as my therapist for close to four years now, and I am completely satisfied. I would strongly recommend her to anyone.

She is on record saying that children lie, they shoudn't be believed, even and especially when reporting abuse. It isn't hard to find videos of her online that are simply horrifying - she said once that a man couldn't possibly be guilty of SAing his child because he .... told her he didn't do it. And that he has diabetes and therefore it's impossible for him to get hard. She told my son he was acting like a child... (and he is a child) when he stood up for his rights and asked for the court order that specified that he had to go with her to a camp. There was no such court order, so she resorted to mocking and belittling him. He recorded the entire thing. This woman is nothing short of evil and her license should be revoked for the harm she causes in the name of profit - and likely her sadistic enjoyment of children's suffering.

She offers a particularly powerful brand of empathy in that it is rooted in her sense of groundedness as a human being. This contributes to innate sincerity in the therapeutic relationship, which in turn lends itself to something really sustainable and applicable to the inevitable challenges that come up in the process. In my personal experience this amalgamation of attributes is highly rare, and the opportunity to have this person to work with should not be passed on by anyone honestly seeking to embark upon this path.

I believe in a shame-free, co-created space where warmth, empathy and humor are not only valued, but encouraged. I bring my authenticity and curiosity to help foster a space where you can safely examine the parts of your life that don't align with your vision for yourself. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for supporting creative people in developing self-awareness and boundary setting, as well as managing anxiety and relationship problems.
