Our family consists of a vegan, a vegetarian, and two keto'tarians. Feel Rite has a good variety of foods that cater to these dietary proclivities. I'm particularly impressed with their keto aisle, with several snacks and baking items that are vegetarian and low-carb-no-sugar products we enjoy. The small grab-and-go prepared foods section also has some house-made keto snacks, like keto fat bombs and keto lemon bars, which are pretty good. I do wish the grab-and-go offered a keto'tarian veggie sandwich or wrap of some sort, but I understand that is likely a tall order for the limited market of folks with these eating habits. Perhaps they could add a keto veggie sandwich for order, since keto bread keeps well frozen and can be toasted on-demand as needed. Just a thought for the Feel Rite kitchen to consider. ;-) There is also a great variety here of singles of keto bars and vegan chocolate bars too, many that are organic fair trade. Don't get those mixed up, as the vegan chocolate is definitely not keto, haha. This year we purchased our Thanksgiving Tofurky log from this Feel Rite. I appreciate that this store is so plant-forward, but be aware you are going to pay for it here. A 2.5 lb. Tofurky log kit that came with a plant gravy and a small side of vegan brownies was fifty bucks! I suppose the consolation is you are supporting the little guy grocery store to help keep it in business. Prices all around are going to be more here than at Whole Foods or other grocery stores, unless you happen to hit a good sale on an item you want, and with one notable exception--eggs. Local free-range pasture-raised organic eggs are usually under $5 a dozen here, which actually beats Walmart's and Whole Food's regular prices for comparable eggs. In a perfect I-won-the-lottery-world, I would gleefully fill my cart with much of my grocery shopping staples at this Feel Rite. But the prices make it cost prohibitive for our current family budget for this to be a haul-shopping store for us. So it will remain a grab-a-few-things favorite for our mostly plant-based fam' until I hit it big. :-) read more

​​I've shopped at Feel Rite in the past for vitamins and supplements, but I never really looked too far past whatever it was that sent me into the store. I've been eating keto for a couple of months, and the other day while driving by, I decided to stop in. I don't know why I should have been surprised, but I was pretty amazed at all the keto-friendly foods on their shelves. (Don't get me wrong. This isn't some keto superstore, but they offer a lot more than other places I've shopped in the area, so I'm speaking comparatively here.) The staff in Feel Rite is always friendly and helpful. This visit was no different. I hadn't been looking for long when one of the associates asked me if she could help me find something. I told her I was​ checking​ for any keto-friendly products they sell. She pointed out a few items in the department where I was looking, and then told me I could also talk to the workers in the deli. She said they would​ be happy to give me tips and even share recipes. It was near closing time while I was visiting on this particular day, so I didn't want to bother anyone with too many questions. I've worked retail before, and I know what kinds of names they have for customers like that. I didn't want to be one of those. But I did notice some keto-friendly cheesecake sitting in the deli case. The ingredients were spelled out plainly, and the container was even labeled as "Keto Cheesecake." (I have to report that after taking it home and eating it, I found it to be a pretty darned delicious cheesecake, keto or otherwise.) Things are a little expensive ​here, but this store isn't some big corporation or chain store, so I can't really blame them for charging more. The advice that comes with your purchase is a lot more than you get when buying from Amazon, and the expertise the people working here always seem to offer is definitely worth paying a little extra for! read more

Feel Rite Fresh Market is a great place to shop for Organic products including produce, dairy, frozen and packaged items. They also carry a variety of organic vitamins, supliments, personal care products and pet products. Prior to the pandemic they had an extensive variety of dispense self service bulk foods, herbs & spices. You can still buy bulk items but they are all pre-packaged. They have a frequent shopper program where you present a punch card at checkout. They punch the amount of your order. When the card is fully punched it's worth $5 off a future purchase. I came here today for the first time. I've been wanting a healthier lifestyle. My insurance will not cover a nutritionist. A girl helped me (I forget her name but very nice girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes). I told her my health problems and she gave some suggestions of things to eat, things to avoid, and some supplements to help. She also informed there is a free on-site nutritionist I can sign up for! Yay! It's not a big store, but it's all-natural (foods and some products ... for pets too!). It's so nice to look at a list of ingredients and be able to read everything and know what it is! Feel Rite is a pricey place but has things you cant find anywhere else. If you like health conscious and organic things, this is the place to go. The staff is very knowledgeable on the products and it feels so fresh and clean in the store. I enjoy stopping by their cafe to pick up some healthy vegan food when I'm in the mood for it. I am writing about the Hamburg Feel Rite but don't seem to find a way to review that store. Had always thought Feel-Rite was ok; didn't go often but they had one item I always need - honey. So a bit ago I went in for clover honey. I was in a hurry and didn't notice until I got home that it was an odd color. Decided that despite color it probably was not poisonous so used it. THIS WAS NOT CLOVER HONEY. Terrible taste. I don't like going to Amazon but I don't know where else to get my honey so Amazon it is. I'd love to hear it if someone who knows could say what that "clover honey" is. read more

I prefer to eat organic when I can so I come to the deli here when I can afford it since those options are not always available to me around Buffalo. It's disappointing. Anyhow, this is what we have: Feel-Rite Deli - Smoothies, juices, wraps, panini's and some nicely prepared sides. All over priced because it's organic and honestly, that's what should be expected. I come here for the juices and smoothies and sometimes I buy my vitamins here. The wraps and panini's are okay, just okay. The baked goods are pretty good but different if you're not accustomed to gluten free or raw foods. I enjoy them but I don't think my friends would to be honest. TIP: Be sure to always check the expiration date on the packaged foods in the deli and whatever you buy in the store, especially because everything is so expensive it will upset you to get home and find out something is expired. It's happened to me a few times from the deli and the store. The girls in the deli are great! Luv em! Always very knowledgable and informative, friendly and provide quick service. The cashiers up front... Eh, they're alright. Sometimes too slow or too talkative to the other customers and I can't get out the store quick enough! I love Green Machine juices and I work in Williamsville so this is the quickest spot I can get to for a healthy lunch pick me up. When you have a choice, make a healthy one! Lastly, this is a small grocery store. The Deli is in the rear of the store and there is seating available for maybe 8 people, they just brought some new chairs and two tables. It's not cute. I was in this location today, as I had a BCBS benefit card to use up before March 1. This location is clean, well-stocked and chock full of helpful people really wanting to assist people however they can. In thirty minutes, I was asked no less than eight times if I needed help, had questions, etc. This is not a complaint, as I was standing in each aisle, reading everything I saw. The chain is expensive. Items are priced somewhat higher or much higher, but it has a comprehensive selection that I find uniquely appealing. The store is clean, smells good and all of the staff are very professional and caring. read more

Wholefoods, Aldi's, Trader Joe's... I've spent over $1, 000 on there CBD products because my wife suffers from migraines. I noticed that they sold tea infused with CBD. I went to the car and call my wife about it. while I was speaking with her in the parking lot they decided to close the doors due to weather and literally 5 minutes later will not sell me the tea because they said they were closing. Even though I was just in there, not 5 minutes prior, and said I'd be calling my wife, from my car, to see if she would want some tea. poor customer service. poor handling of the situation. The staff here is so warm and helpful! I love how they have so many unique vegan and organic products that you can't find anywhere else. The cafe is AMAZING and I love all of the muffins they make! I want to like this store since it's the only place in the Amherst/Clarence area that sells a lot of things that can't be found elsewhere easily. First, the produce is often tired and old looking. Virtually every time I walk in there, there is produce that should have been cleared out, and it's a big turn off. Just how old is the produce? Some of it should be in the compost heap, not selling for premium prices. Second, the shelves are often bare. Seriously, don't they understand that they are in the business of selling products? It's like they only want one box of pasta out at any one time. Third, the store itself is so uninviting. Bright florescent lights are a big turnoff. There is nothing inviting or enticing about the place at all. If you want to know how they could merchandise better, take a look at the Lexington Food Coop on Elmwood. The produce is always top notch, there is a wide selection of products, and the shelves are bursting to the seems with choices. Plus the store is beautiful. I always spend more there than I anticipated. And yes, I always spend less at FeelRite that I expected because there is simply very little to buy. read more

I came in here looking for Bach's Rescue Remedy. They carry it for both people and dogs. Walked the entire store before finding it up in the front corner. I was asked if I needed help a couple of times. I would like to come back in here to look more thoroughly. But it seems like it's kind of cluttered and hard to navigate. They had some of the Bach's Flower Remedies, but not all. When I'm ready to purchase these for myself, I will probably get them online. Anyway, I want to go back at the end of the month for an iridology reading. Looks cool! read more

I have been there three different occasions to get a juice from their juice bar and have been turned away all three times. The first one was because the bar closed at 3pm and it was 3:14. Understandable. The second and third times were completely ridiculous. I got there before 3pm to get a juice as I was previously instructed to do so. They refused to make me a drink because they "need an hour to prepare for the next day". When I asked what time they actually stop making drinks (so that the next time I come there they will actually make me one) they would not give me a set time. So the fact that I got there at 2:30 for them to close at 3 and they still wouldn't make me a drink. Terrible customer service. If you stop making drinks at 2pm have that be the "closing time" and not waste peoples time for you to use the last hour to "prepare for tomorrow". read more

Usually I have a good experience in this location but that was not the case on 3/20/20. I was looking to buy Colloidal Silver, which I have been buying at this location for years, and they did not have any, as the sales person on the floor at the time told me. However, this sales person wanted to push the "covid 19" agenda on me; and also to push her beliefs about the colloidal silver that turned out to be only half true. The overall attitude was condescending and nasty. I did not get the sales person's name but she wore glasses; was overweight, seemed overly stressed out and was rather unhealthy looking. I am not taking health advice from such a person in the first place. Secondly, she did not punch my customer card for my large purchase. Thirdly, she kept on drilling it home that "at a time like this" and "everybody is trying to avoid getting sick while all this is going on..." etc. etc. I'm sorry but I came into the "Feel Rite" market to deal with sane people who are there to possibly help me find the products they do have that are comparable to the ones they are running low on. I want to know WHY the health food store is merrily going along with what the media are spewing out here. All employees wearing gloves and acting nerved up. Is that what health is all about here??? This place is supposed to be an alternative to allopathic/western medicine. A different option for health! It just felt like they were all anxious, stressed out, and not as friendly as they have always been before. All because of the nonsense in the media pushing sickness and disease to sell pharmaceutical drugs. Maybe not all of us are falling for the wearing of gloves and masks for protection but rather relying upon our IMMUNE systems and monitoring what we put into our bodies. A bit expensive but with careful looking you can find good food and really nice natural products and you don't have to worry about reading the labels. Here I tried my first smart water and found a larger bag of wild rice than the supermarket sells for a comparable price. Also found and enjoy Celtic Sea salt which I will not switch from. The staff is friendly and I do agree the produce looks scary but it's natural and that tends to make things look not as pretty as the hazardous produce that has been altered to look nice in other stores. $8 for butter? Don't think so...... During the holidays there were a lot of nice stocking stuffers. Compare prices for same products in the natural food section of the supermarkets. read more

I was pleasantly surprised after my visit to the Feel-Rite on Transit (I've been to other chain natural food stores like Mrs. Green's near NYC and hated them). This store had a good selection of products, both food and household items. The prices were average for a natural food store and the employees were very friendly. They even had some vegan food samples which was great. I also love their frequent shopper program. Gotta shop on Wednesdays and Saturdays to get double points. They had a deli and many vegan desserts but hardly any vegan lunch options. I wish they had more prepared vegan lunch foods for sale. That is my only suggestions though. Everything else was great. I loved their produce selection too! Everything was really fresh and they had watercress (which is usually hard to find). read more

Thoroughly dissatisfied with the service I received the other day. I had heard that this store was on the upswing from a friend, but I guess that is not the case. First off, everything is cheaper elsewhere. Don't waste your time here. The atmosphere is one of elitism and snake oil. Their "everyday sale", which is 20% at the register doesn't mean ANYTHING. All they did was eliminate the deals they already had before and now they make you think they are taking a lot of money off. You are NOT getting a better deal, so don't think you are. I don't know if I caught this store at a bad time or not, but everything was not good. I got a bar and a salad from the deli. The bar was extremely dry and the salad looked a couple days too old. These two modest ventures set me back almost $12 dollars. Not worth it. I asked for help finding a product and the cashier essentially shushed me off and said she would help me in a minute. I waited for 5 minutes in the aisle, there glimpsing the shelves which were extremely messy. I eventually went up and paid for my food and left. There was three other people in the front, none looking busy, and there was no other customer in sight. I happened to glimpse who I think the manager was. She was upfront chatting away with her employees. Had I been helped I probably would have spent a sizeable amount, but now I have a sour taste in my mouth. I see that there are four other feel rite stores, I'll have to go to another and see if these are all so bad. read more
