I had a spa where we were staying, but they were booked out until Monday. I called around and found a spa, A-1 Massage, that was open on Sunday , booked my spot for 11am. I Got there, the staff had no knowledge and f my appointment time and was asking for payment up front. They made me feel as if I couldn't pay, and wasn't deserving of a massage and when I told staff I was uncomfortable about getting massage there due to how I was treated they attempted to argue with me. I left there in Tears. I googled MAJESTIC MASSAGE DAY SPA , explained my situation and they do graciously SQUEEZED me in. The front desk staff and seating area was beautifully set up . It gave ambiance and relaxation. EVERYONE greeted me with a smile. The room was clean and the fragrance gave spa rejuvenation vibes. I was paired with Michelle V. She was very knowledgeable about her Craft. She stretched my body and gave me a one hour deep tissue WITH stones. I called and spoke with Rae who told me she is the only one at the salon and that she would work with me to do my fill. She told me to book for an hour and a half fill because she wanted time to "talk" about what to do with my lashes but she would only charge me for an hour fill. I was already worried about that because of the pricing difference but I booked it as directed. Then I had visitors who were staying with me that ended up having to leave later on Saturday than originally planned so I tried to cancel my appointment via Facebook when we found out Friday evening for an appointment Saturday at 10. I understand that I cancelled within 24 hours and that you should charge a fee of maybe $25-$30 for the inconvenience but to charge me $100 dollars is RIDICULOUS! I mean at least allow people to use it towards rescheduling an appointment!!! So if I did even want to reschedule I would've had to pay $200 to get a FILL! Also on the phone she basically told me I wasted her time because now she would have a gap in her schedule and wouldn't be able to fill it. I told her I'm sure she could probably contact her clients and they would be willing to come in early or to contact someone who was looking to get an appointment today. She scoffed at me. I ended up hanging up on her because I was just so frustrated. Honestly don't expect good customer service here, she is completely unwilling to work with customers and just keeps telling you that's the company policy. I've worked in customer service for years and can tell you that to just blow off a customer or potential customer with "company policy" when it's already a small business is not the way to build up your reputation.
