The Public Health nurse who called me said I should see an allergist and get a prescription for epi pens because AGS is weird and even with low levels I could have an anaphylactic reaction (and as it turns out the absolute gastrointestinal misery I went through that spurred me to get the testing *was* a form of anaphylactic reaction). Unfortunately I chose this place. Over $600 to be told the AGS levels on my blood test were "likely a false positive" and therefore no Epi was prescribed. Visit notes list several things that were not actually done and says I likely have "food intolerance", not an allergy. Completely disregarded the fact that AGS is a reaction to a SUGAR molecule while the limited scratch tests he did on me check reactions to PROTEINS (which is why they are NOT reliable for testing for AGS). Did NOT prescribe an Epi for me, so I just starved my way through a two-week camping trip for fear of potential reaction. My visit notes also suggest a "pork sausage challenge" at the office over 4 hours to rule out AGS. That's NOT the way AGS works. With AGS you can eat something one time and not react at all, and have the exact same thing two days later and have a bad reaction. It's a crap shoot. It's just plain dangerous to suggest to someone they're not AGS based on the fact that they don't react within a few hours to *one* in-office challenge. What happens when someone celebrates with a nice steak dinner because this doctor said they had a false positive, and they wake up in hospital or worse because *that's* when their body decided to react?? I also do NOT appreciate the complete lack of transparency with respect to pricing. Prices and fees should be clearly communicated BEFORE testing so the patient can make an informed decision as to whether to proceed. I feel like the over $600 I was charged for this one short visit with minor testing was a massive overcharge. I won't be going back.

She is correct--I know a fraud when I meet one and was not an easy target, so I was a bad fit. My son has very complex medical problems, so unfortunately we are very familiar with a laundry list of specialists. So trust me when I say I know my way around a good office and a bad office. I know the difference between a good provider and a bad provider. Dr Young takes care of our little boy and he takes care of pretty much every medically complex child in our area. In fact, I just recommended him to someone today, which is when I saw the shocking (yet solitary) 1 star review while going to copy and paste the phone number. I'm familiar with other people who work in this office as well. The people that work here really know their stuff and their hearing booth is state of the art. Terrible time getting reimbursed…read more We saw Dr. Young who provided fine care. Had to pay out of pocket- nearly $6,000- as my child was not on our insurance yet. It took 3 months to get reimbursed despite insurance also coming thru 2 months prior. Got the run around from office staff with several conflicting excuses-- put on a reimbursement list, check is cut-should see it any day, billing isn't in house, etc. Finally getting to the point of absurdity and blatant disregard, we had called several days in a row, leaving voicemails and not getting anywhere or thru to anyone to help, at our whits end. Front desk must have gotten in touch with billing that was apparently 'closed' and the FINALLY sent the funds back to the card I originally paid with. Pretty easy fix for the absolute nightmare we went through to get repaid for a service rendered in early June. Would not recommend.

Headaches are now few and far between and while I'm never going to be 100 percent I do have a damn good and productive life. A needle in the hands of a great therapist saved me from major surgery and got me off pain meds daily. No more gaba no prekocet no elivel no anything but a few Naproxsen a few times a week and I live a great life. I do have to have weekly maintenance and it's not a pleasurable treatment but I have my life back and there is no amount of gratitude I could ever show that would equal what I've been given They are amazing and you can't put a price on getting your life back Thanks guys.
