When I call always only get automated robot, never a real person, and if by chance I do get a real person its someone from China or someplace other than US and they are "sorry for the inconvenience " but problem never gets resolved. read more

I tried calling FedEx because they keep leaving packages at my garage, which is a fair distance from my house, through the backyard, on the other side of a tall fence. I asked if it could be noted in their system for packages to be left at the front door and I was told they couldn't do such a thing. I clarified that there was no way to put a note in their system, why it's such a bad idea to be left there, including theft, and was told no. I've had packages get ruined from being out in the snow, not knowing they were there throughout the day and/or night. I could hear laughing in the background (unrelated I'm sure). They have sent messages changing delivery date 3 times, normally wouldn't be an issue but this one requires signature so have to be home to receive. They do not inform you until 7:30 pm that delivery date has changed yet again. They leave packages in the rain when there is clearly an enclosed porch. Forget customer service, its non existent and you only get automated responses. FedEx is the worst shipping company there is. They have used Delayed Due To Weather Twice and both days were absolutely clear weather without or impending snow, wind or rain. They show up when it rains and dump your packages in the rain. read more

So I came here to drop off my package as I had a prepaid label and it was a big box I didn't tape it cause I didn't have any tape, and she was like I gotta charge you,and I'm like okay? I left work early to receive my package within the time they said it would be delivered only to get home and find out they had already tried to deliver it and I missed them by 15 minutes. In the age of technology, it's becoming harder and harder for people to be dishonest and not get caught. That being said I was supposed to have a really important package delivered this morning. There were multiple people awake in my home and we have security cameras around our house that record the area at all times. I get a notification at 9:10 that my package couldn't be delivered because no one was home yet there were no knocks on the door and no rings on the doorbell. We check the camera and no FedEx drivers even appeared on our street this morning. I called and the girl on the phone expressed that she believed me but sounded insincere and slightly condecending. I don't trust that my package will be delivered to my home so I requested to have it sent to a pickup location which now pushes back the time of arrival. If you have the option, take your business else where. read more

I am beginning to think they have theives or totally ihis ept working as delivery drivers, no offense to delivery persons that actually do their job to the best of their ability. I have several deliveries this week and am home full time. On Wed 14 July 21 it was stated that 2 pkgs were delivered to me at my home (NOT!!!) I called immediately to say the pkgs WERE NOT delivered to me. Was told 2 pkgs missing would be delivered w/pkg that was coming Thursday 15 July 21 (NOT!!) Called again was told my pkgs were misdelivered, who knows if this is true or just a lie. Now they are saying I may have to wait over a week while they do research??? to find out what happened. I am furious because there is no money to replace items in pkgs. Reps are courteous, but can basically tell you nothing!!!! If pkgs are misdelivered why can the delivery person that supposedly misdelivered pkgs go get them and get them to me? So....were they actually misdelivered? Or were pkgs stolen somewhere else since they were not delivered to me? I was here all day and NO DELIVERY CAME. I personally would use FedEx. I have had the delivery say they would be here on a specific day and never show up for days. In pick-ups, they say they have been at your home to pick-up a computer to send to manufacturer and never show up to pick up date yet they punch in they were here. I made adjustment for another pick-up and checked on time for pickup and it was not listed for next day either. This is an incompetent company. Use UPS. read more

The Local FedEx is awful! Over the years I have had nothing but problems! They frequently deliver my packages to the wrong address! When they do deliver to my address, you would think it wouldn't be to difficult to leave at the front door. However I frequently find packages on the side of my house where the neighbors driveway is (not our driveway). You try calling customer service and they just give you a line of excuses why it was okay for what the driver did! You can't find a number to call the local FedEx, something needs to be done! Complete and utter incompetence from top to bottom. This company should not be entrusted with delivering parcels. I had an order ship from a company in three separate packages. Tracking showed two would be delivered on 14 November 2018, and the third on 15 November 2018. On the 14th, I'm standing in my garage when the driver walks up and lays a single package on the floor, then goes back to his truck and drives off without even answering my greeting. The tracking info showed both packages delivered, so I looked a little closer. One was left "at front door" at 12:54, and the other was left " at garage" at 12:57 (the one I received). Although quite obvious what had happened, when I called and made a claim, FedEx argued with me that it was indeed delivered. Even after explaining, two different packages left at two different locations (front door and garage) at two different times, they still argued with me claiming that the packages were delivered and they aren't responsible for what happened to the package after they left it "at the delivery address". Lucky for me, the company I ordered from has great customer service and is pushing the issue. This company said that after a 48 hour investigation, they will replace the items I did not receive from FedEx. It may appear petty to take the time to leave a review about this, but this is the second time this has happened. Last time the company I ordered from was Jegs, and they were just as bad. Jegs said they weren't responsible for FedEx and FedEx said if the package was missing that I needed to take it up with the police. Problem is, I was outside when the FedEx truck flew past my house that day too. I had to call the Sheriff's office and report the FedEx driver for "stealing mail". That got FedEx to accept responsibility for the mess and refund my money. Two weeks after everything was finally cleared up, a gentleman from about a mile down the road stopped by and said he had come home from out of town to find my package on his porch. A couple of months ago, I watched a FedEx driver in town (Coffeen st. in Watertown) forget to shut his back door. He gunned it out into traffic and left a trail of packages all the way up the hill. He never even slowed down. Random people stopped and moved everything out of the street. Just unbelievable that they handle mail for people. read more

"It's in the middle of the pile of packages and I can't find it, I'll put a note in your account for when we go through the boxes." You didn't close for another hour and half. This is the worst company I have had to deal with in a very long time. We were supposed to get a parcel Wednesday and still haven't gotten it. Now we have to wait until Monday. The parcel contains items for us to fill a customer's order worth $150 and the customer cancelled because we weren't able to deliver the order in a timely fashion. Now we don't know when we will receive our parcel. The message we kept getting was unable to contact customer or business was closed. We have our business in our home so have been here all along. I am very disappointed. My package was supposed to arrive today. Then a few hours after I got a notification that my package was on the delivery truck and going to be delivered today, I received another notification that it was attempted to be delivered but I wasn't home. I had a wonderful experience at this facility today! I went in to return a double ordered item off of my baby registry that ended up costing a fortune because the box they sent it in was sooo much larger than it needed to be. The wonderful woman at the desk cut my box in half and re-sealed it cutting my shipping charge by $20+! The worst customer service ever! Within the past year they have either delivered my package to another address not even close to mine or they leave it outside ( when someone is actually home) and not even where they said they delivered it. This past winter they left a package by our garage door but said they said it was delivered by the back door. Another occasion they left it two doors up and another persons house. The drivers are careless and their facility managers don't even care. Maybe they need more training? or better yet, maybe they should just give a damn and do their jobs! My father was due to receive healthcare supplies that, for him, are very important. We were told the package should arrive Saturday, but Monday at the latest. There was no attempt to deliver the package on either day. FedEx normally delivers to our town in the late afternoon, so when it didn't arrive again today, I tracked it online. In the vague lines since the package has been hurtling toward our part of Earth, the last entry was that the packages couldn't be delivered on Saturday because the apartment number was wrong. Hm. Really, it shouldn't have mattered if the apartment number was wrong. There is a board which lists tenants' last names and first initials along with their apartment numbers and an internal phone upon which to call in order to be buzzed into the building. If the driver had actually bothered to get out of his truck and gone into the vestibule of the building, he would have easily found the apartment number quickly and painlessly, even with nothing but an elementary reading level and no CSI-style sleuthing skills. So I called Fed Ex. The first level rep I spoke to confirmed that the apartment number was wrong, but that it was corrected at 9am today. He could not, or would not, tell me what the original apartment number on the airbill was (probably because their service people are looking at the same website we mere mortals see online.) I asked why, if the correction was made so early in the day, the packages weren't delivered today, especially being this was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. This is when we got into the fun, FUN and slippery sloped world of Delivery Service Double Talk and Scary Semantics (that's a real title... I swear!) Apparently, Saturday was the ANTICIPATED delivery date. The COMMITMENT date isn't until tomorrow, so it won't be delivered until tomorrow. Now, I'm a woman. I know better than to ANTICIPATE COMMITMENT, but it all seemed a bit more lame than usual when these topics come up (and yes, I acknowledge, much less devastating but equally annoying.) We played semantic tag for awhile, but my lungs got wheezy from the chase and I asked to speak to a supervisor while I puffed on my inhaler, ready for Round 2. While the supervisor to which I spoke acknowledged that the driver should have been able to deliver the package on Saturday, thereby avoiding any issue, and that the apartment had been corrected at 9:00am this morning, the package would not be delivered today not just because of FedEx's fear of COMMITMENT, but because the 'Home Delivery' section of the Watertown office is closed on Sunday and Monday. OK, Madame Supervisor. My father has an all day doctor's appointment tomorrow and so I informed her that no one would be available to buzz the guy into the building. I asked that the supervisor make sure that the delivery is made between 9am-4pm so that the driver can buzz the office instead... but she would do no such thing. She just CAN'T, Ma'am. Only the 'Freight' section is open and it is only the freight section that can guarantee a morning delivery, even to a home. If you're a home getting home delivery, no fixing of a problem can be accomplished. Too bad so sad. She would only send an email to various managers as she has no idea who will be working tomorrow and can make no guarantees. I asked to be cc'd on the email, but as they have much better security that Equifax, she said she could not. I asked her to write the email while I hold so she can let me know what it says so that I know what they know and perhaps, just perhaps, may be able to avoid more fun, fun double talk and she-said he-said. And yes, in the name of full disclosure, I did not have total faith in her desire or ability to actually make my point in her email as by that time I was an eensy, teensy, bit annoyed (read: completely PO'd that FedEx has become SUCH a lame company.) The email was fine. She would make no promises, guarantees or send me flowers. There is no number to call in Watertown, only the central Fed Ex number and they SWEAR they will connect me to the Watertown office. No manager/contact name to request for follow up and accountability provided. I think it's fair to say that the chances that my Dad will get what he needs tomorrow are about as slim as me using FedEx in the future, but I'll go through the motions, give 'em a call and at the very least, have an opportunity to blow off some steam that I normally save for the usually deserving cable company. read more
