My aunt got the mole and I have to say that was delicious. We also actually started with a beat and goat fluff cheese, which was amazing. Definitely must have. We also got a shrimp taco, which was phenomenal. For a drink I got a carajillo which is one of my favorite things to drink when I'm in Mexico. The only flavor that it had was "stinky feet." The arrabiata was also bland. It just tasted like tomatoes. It was supposed to have onions and chiles too, but it didn't really taste like it. When I've had arrabiata at other restaurants it's usually a little spicy. I was extremely disappointed. Also, the bread that they served us before the meal tasted like it was stale and freezer burned (at the same time). Additionally, there was mold in the bowl of parmesan that they gave me for my pasta. I didn't notice until after I was almost finished (and I had used a lot of parmesan to try to add flavor). I'm really underwhelmed. The pasta ranged from mediocre to bad and the service was extremely slow. Even though this place is very close to my apartment, I will not be back. I will go to the other Italian place (a block away) or I will dump some Prego on some noodles and it'll be more flavorful.

The vegetables in the salad were fresh as could be and the bread was tasty, but we only took a bite as we were waiting for a pizza after all. The pizza, which was larger than we anticipated, was bubbling hot, the crust was tasty, thin and crisp. The cheese, sauce and toppings made for a delicious pie, but with the addition of some of the pesto salsa it was a home run. It just proved to be too much pizza for us and we were able to finish only half of it. We suspect the small pizza would have been just right. Bottom line, we highly recommend this cozy place if you're looking for a great pizza and fresh salad.

It's really cute in their courtyard and they have much cleaner and nicer bathrooms than I've seen in most places in Oaxaca. I had a bagel yesterday for a mere 20 pesos and it was one of the best bagels I've ever had. And as a Jew from New York that's probably one of the highest compliments i can give. I also had a slice of chocolate cake which was excellent. A tad pricey at 75 pesos but worth every one. Wish they had more prepared foods outside of pizza and cold sandwiches as I'm sure they'd be excellent. Overall a fabulous place and I'll definitely be back.
