I have to admire Feati University for surviving despite facing serious problems that would have forced lesser schools to close down.
Their biggest problem was discovered more than a decade ago, when the main building was found to be near collapse. In fact, the City Engineer was all but ready to condemn the building. But a handful of graduates of the university got together to map out a plan to save their alma mater.
From what I gathered, they were able to reverse engineer the structure by strengthening its main support structure, They also created the architectural and engineering plans that created a new, sturdier facade. As a result, Feati is now able to withstand any powerful earthquake.
The other problem faced by this institution is the fact that it was necessary for the Light Rail Transit to cut through Feati property. This meant literally cutting the university in half to provide space for the mass rail transit system.
A part of the university property had to be surrendered but the school managed to survive.
So today Feati continues to thrive offering a wide range of technical courses. The university has become an institution and should survive for many more decades to come. read more
