She numbed me up and we chatted about my desired look for my brows and we decided on doing a combination brow which means a combination between nano & shading. I won't lie, I definitely felt the nano part more than the shading. But I would 100% do it again. The discomfort is tolerable and so worth it for the end result. For the booking process, each time I would submit an idea while her books were open then she would approve my idea if it fit within what she wants to tattoo. Once I got approval, she emailed two links for putting down a deposit and choosing when my appointment is. This process is easy, then you eventually get a couple emails/text messages telling you instructions for the day of the appointment and aftercare. Parking near the studio is rather hard, but I've always been lucky that my partner drops me off. You can definitely find street parking, it just may be a bit of a walk to the studio. You text the given number saying that you're here and go up once Ash says she's ready. The rest of the process is pretty straightforward after that. I just moved from New York back to Louisville and was a little nervous about finding a new lash…read moreplace. It costs a lot less in New York and there are a ton of places to choose from. I found Skye online and went in for a refill. They checked my lashes to see if my New York provider was applying in a similar way. Was happy they were able to work with my current lashes, eliminating the need to remove my current application. My refill took an hour and a half which is a bit longer than I'm used to but the end result was lovely. They stayed on about the same amount of time as my other providers applications have. The technician and friendly and was good at communicating with me around my comfort. I actually had to immediately leave town after for a month so I got a touch up out of town. The person who did my touch up commented on how nicely done my application from Skye was, no overuse of glue, neatly applied. Looking forward to going back when I return home! The only cons i have is the space is relatively cluttered and small but they are going through some restructuring i believe. The location is slightly hard to find, and the initially paperwork is a bit overwhelming and can be alarming to some who are not familiar with lash extensions. Have no fear, I imagine as a small business they are just protecting their investment. They do good work.
