The ruin is unsafe and could collapse anytime. It is a mark of history. It is also called the smallpox hospital. In the past, this was the smallpox hospital that kept patients away from everyone else. It doesn't cost anything to check out the Renwick Ruin. It is about 15 mins walk from the Roosevelt Subway Station. This is a tourist site. I highly recommend checking it out if you have never been. You can also check out the Four Freedom Park which is located 5 mins walk away.

Homeless people living in the hallways. Fires, floods, lights out in hallways,expired and illegal smoke detectors. Get everything in writing. Never talk to the "Rosenblats" on the phone. ALWAYS get it in writing. They turn off the hot water in the entire building. They insist you call them and not 311 or fire department for gas leaks. Building infested with carpenter bees, roaches and mice. They Never clean the hallways except the day before they are showing the apartments. Do not sign a contract with them. There have been fires and floods in this building many times 6 in 10 years and never once was anything cleaned. Use another management company if you want to live in a safe clean apartment.

There are no benefits...only intimidation and exploitation. It is not a happy and healthy work environment as the company stated. The physical, financial, emotional and mental well-being of the employees is not a consideration. There are no happy and healthy employees on the sales force - most of them have back problems and a couple of them need canes to assist them...most likely from years of long hours sitting in unsafe chairs. They know, and the company knows, that jobs are scarce, so the employees don't complain. They just suffer...especially when they see their paychecks at the end of the week.

I have no idea how he manages to keep track of multiple email threads that change topics and decisions/votes, it's a true talent! For those living in a co-op/condo...you KNOW how batty it can get. Life is so much easier when you know someone is out there looking out for the good of the building and it's financials, but also keeping the peace and being fair at all times. If you are considering companies to manage your building I hope you will seriously consider New Bedford. I personally feel lucky our building roped them into managing us - they must never leave us hahah!

This is also a serious fire hazard! 13 months later, still dealing with debris. On top of this, we have been without gas for 17 months now. Last update was me June that we failed inspection and just one minor touch is needed and would be corrected in a day. Since then plumbers have still been working on this so called minor issue, sometimes till 9pm. Our hallways on each floor look as though they haven't been cleaned in over a year. Mismatched painting on the walls, cheap plastic sticker floor tiles that are stained and can't be cleaned because it's cheap and not meant for high traffic. Save yourself the horror and find someone else.
