Food wasn't great. Staff didn't seem very excited to see me. I'll try again in a few months

Seem to me they being payed under the table ro allow people that pay tied to dallas to do whatever they want... older head people that faught hard to make this curt stand out..all the people working in the city of Dallas just there for jobs so common sense no education... They hiring cousins and people that know one another instead of building a strong respectful city... The polices don't care they to busy trying to intimidate people with ther uniforms and car lights.. You call them they never come... Being a woman of past domestic violence they give all care to the man especially if he pays his monthly club ties to the city... The police to busy making issues when you see them coming or driving... I think when you start working for dallas you lose yourself...

I offered to drive him home since I hadn't been drinking. He threw an unopened 12 pack into the trunk and I drove his car for him. I was pulled over as I didn't dim my headlights to the oncoming police car (wasn't my car so I was unfamiliar with the floor mounted dimmer switch). I was pulled over immediately and the first thing the cop did (officer Bishop)...is try to tell me I was drunk. Once I passed all his BS tests and a breath analyzer (0.0 bac was my result) the jerk asked if there was any beer in the car. I WAS HONEST and told him there was an unopened 12 pack in the truck and guess what......Both myself and my friend were taken to Jail and car was towed. We spent the night in jail and both got tickets for "minor in Posession of Alcohol". Moral of the story.....Hats off to officer Savage and Officer Bishop......... Both of whom had no common sense approach and instead... Threw the book at us. Since then....I never volunteered to drive a friend home again who had had too much to drink. You set a good example Officer Bishop and officer Savage! Great Job in the Community!!!! Another total scam the UP cops ran for years......They wrote many of the HP high school students bookoos parking tickets due to the stupid 2 hour parking spaces all around the school. They since changed this after stealing money from many of the students/parents for many years. 1/2 of 1/2 of 1/2 star for the UP Police. They don't respect their citizens. Move to Highland Park where they respect the citizens that live there! BOO on University Park and and Big BOO for the University Park Police Department.

FBI told me to call the DPD's Financial Crimes division to get them to look into the account owner, who is either intentionally or unwittingly acting as a fraud ring money laundering mule. When I did, the DEI phone operator, probably miserable at her lowly position with zero prospects for advancement so late in life, was rude and unsympathetic, telling me I had NO PROOF that this happened!!! I have proof - documents, emails, texts, and the wire loss itself, LOL. For her to say that, and so pompously... these people are not "protecting and serving", that's for sure, lol. I stayed in a hotel the (OVO)on the beltline, and someone had entered my room on multiple occasions without my permission while I was sleep. I called the non-emergency to see if I could get a body examination as I wasn't sure if I was assaulted. I explained to them the physical concerns I had, they said that I should go to a doctor and get checked out and that was the end of the call .I called back a couple days later to see if I can get a call report and the operator who was very sweet and patient with me dispatched an officer at my request. A police officer (Mr. Monken) called me maybe 10 minutes later and told me that it was highly unlikely that I was assaulted and not aware of the incident. Asking me if I was on any medications that'll cause me to deep sleep, which I replied to no. He also stated that I should maybe see a doctor for other health concerns. April 13th the hotel told me I had to leave because I was supposedly causing problems which they couldn't explain to me .I let them know that I had mail on it's way to that location and if they could hold it for me .The attendant at the time said yes, that they'd hold my mail for me. I left but stayed near the library because I am a student and I need wi-fi and I don't have a car or a lot of money to spend on Ubers. I would've gone home sooner if I hadn't been waiting for my packages. Finally April 21st comes chime alerts that my delivery is delivered .I call the hotel and speak to a male attendant who told me that there was nothing there for me and hangs up on me .I call back and he answer but says nothing again I call back nothing. I'm angry and annoyed at this point I call the police to report my things missing/stolen. They ask me if I checked the postal office. I give them the spill about everything they're telling I can't make a police report but dispatch police to talk to me say the same thing .This is where things really bother my nerves .I tell them I have to get back to GA before the 24 of April, and that I need my card. Officer Dunlop and Schaeffer or something like that chuckle in my face while I'm clearly in distress .Dunlop states that maybe I shouldn't trust strangers with my mail. He says that I don't need police report I say I guess not since they told me no crime was committed and they give me ID back and leave.

I guess she's waiting for something to happen to myself or one of my family members. I would like to add that the male officers were very polite and seemed more engaged to what I had to say.

The DPD (North Central) responded very quickly and luckily, it wasn't a burglary but was a motion sensor glitsch/malfunction with our system. This is the first time something like this has happened to us and while seeing police at our house probably worried or surprised our neighbors, I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to our officers, not only in our area but citywide. I also realize and am relieved that our particular incident was very minor compared to what so many others have had to deal with and have possibly needed the police for. They have a very hard, all-consuming and sometimes thankless job (especially these days) where sadly, too many people are all too happy and quick to complain and criticize while forgetting that these officers are human beings and have voluntarily chosen this as their career/job, many giving up holidays, nights, weekends and lots of other times with their loved ones. I'm so incredibly fortunate to not only be a part of such a great neighborhood (and city) with amazing neighbors but to feel like we're being kept safe and helped by these hardworking men and women. The next time you see an officer, think about saying "thank you." Just a thought.

GPPD officers are notorious for issuing tickets when their officers are out here dobig the same things they issue tickets for. Also, GPPD wants to stop you if you breathe wrong, but getting help in an emergency takes hours and multiple calls to 911 to get a police response. They care more about writing tickets and making money than they do responding to emergencies. GPPD is horrible!!!!
