They don't have these out where I live, and I never even heard of one until I stumbled across one back East somewhere a couple years back. We were looking for a place for supper and cocktails, but unbeknownst to us, none of these I've ever been in have any alcohol whatsoever. I've been to this location, twice, and two or three other locations once. I've never had a bad meal that any of them. This particular one, I just ordered a hot Italian sammich.. I was the only one in the restaurant, and my server saw me from the back, greeted me, and took my order. She was super nice and professional. Nothing major, just a hot sub, and she was nice enough to give me a side of Italian dressing, cuz everybody knows, you can't have a hot Italian sub, without dressing! I was in and out in about 5 minutes or so. I've been here for a few days, so chances are I'll probably eat here again tonight. I do like that the restaurant keeps up on holiday themes. They had a mixture of Thanksgiving crosswords and mazes, mixed with Thanksgiving and Christmas theme for the upcoming holidays. You know when they talk about certain foods lighting up the reward centers in the brain? This is probably one of the best examples of that. Fazoli's does Italian Fast Food- but, it actually tastes so much better than your typical fast food. Whenever I visit a Fazoli's, I always get the sampler that has Spaghetti, Lasagna and Fettuccine Alfredo. It's a great way to sample multiple offerings of the Fazoli's repertoire. The tomato sauce they use for their pasta dishes is zesty, and tastes AMAZING! I find myself eating their food extra slow to really savor the excellent flavors. Now, this particular location is in a truck stop, but don't let that fool you. The food here was great quality and fresh. I did not dine in the establishment, so I got my food to go. It was packed well and came with utensils, seasonings and breadsticks. I was so happy to find this Fazoli's . Back home, there isn't a Fazoli's within a hundred miles, so when I come across one, I'll always be sure to drop in. This one was great and did not disappoint! read more

Tonight's visit to Fazoli's was a complete disaster from start to finish. I rarely write reviews, but the sheer frustration and disappointment compel me to share my experience. It began when my fiancée, our 4-year-old son, and I decided to have dinner there. We ordered two Chicken Fettuccine dinners and a Loaded Baked Spaghetti, totaling over $41 and change. When I handed the cashier a $100 bill, I was told they couldn't accept it--not because they lacked change, but because their policy prohibited them from taking anything larger than a $20 bill. I clarified that I wasn't trying to "break" the bill unnecessarily, pointing out that surely they had the $50-some in change required. Yet the answer was still no. Even when I asked what would happen if my total were doubled at around $83 instead of $41 and change, I was told they still wouldn't accept it. Their solution was for me to walk to the store next door to get change. Frustrated but wanting to salvage the evening, I begrudgingly complied. Looking back, I should have left then and there. When our food arrived, the disappointment continued. The pasta dishes had just enough sauce to barely coat the top--just enough to say there was sauce, but nowhere near enough to make the meals enjoyable. Still, we started eating, but my fiancée's meal came to an abrupt halt when she found a short black hair in her Fettuccine. She brought the dish to the counter, and while they did replace it, the damage was already done. I finished my spaghetti, and my fiancée ate her replacement meal, but our 4-year-old barely touched his dry Fettuccine. I went to get a to-go container and politely asked the manager if she could provide a small scoop of sauce to pour over his leftovers. Her immediate response was, "You'll have to pay for it and it's $2.19 plus tax." It wasn't just the refusal--it was the way she said it, as if she actually enjoyed the opportunity to deny a basic request. I wasn't asking for a full bowl of sauce or something to dip breadsticks into--just a small scoop to make the dry pasta edible. Despite explaining this, she refused and repeated, "It'll be $2.19 plus tax!". Her attitude made it clear that accommodating a simple, reasonable request was out of the question. Between the ridiculous payment policy, the lackluster food, the hair in the meal, and the manager's smug indifference, this visit was a perfect example of how to alienate customers. If Fazoli's wants to create a training manual on driving patrons away, tonight's experience should be its centerpiece. If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been a customer of Fazoli's for years. Heck, I've even got their app for rewards. However, tonight, Fazoli's has lost my business permanently, and I'll be sharing this experience with anyone who asks. read more

Back for the fourth time around, and service was as amazing as ever. Kareena was the friendliest, most attentive person I think I've ever seen at a Fazoli's. She chatted with every customer about their days, their lives, how they're doing, and genuinely made the energy in the room feel welcoming. (And she kept the breadsticks coming without even asking). Came into this recently opened Fazoli's for lunch on a Sunday. Of note, this is also my 1st experience ever with Fazoli's. It is located inside a gas station, but given that its brand new it doesn't really seem that way until you decide to look outside the window. It's spacious inside with a nice array of tables and booths to choose from. You order at the counter, and grab a table and the food is then brought out to you. They offer unlimited garlic breadsticks which are really bad for you but taste oh so good. Decided to go with the oven baked classic sampler for my entree, which consists of fettuccine alfredo, lasagna with meat sauce, spaghetti and meatballs baked with mozzarella & provolone. Was a good way to sample what they have to offer. My favorite was the fettuccine, and the spaghetti was decent also. Lasagna was on the dry side, and probably not something I would get again. The pasta overall was on par with what I would expect from a fast food/fast casual Italian place. Overall, I think this is a great addition to have in this area that's surrounded by truck stops with attached fast food places. It's nice to have an Italian option to pick from when you're in the mood for something quick and I will likely be back. read more

I was so excited to eat this meal because usually Fazoli's is good. However, this time was unsatisfactory. I have it one star because at least the spaghetti under the chicken was good and the breadsticks. The chicken of the Chicken Parmesan was obviously previously frozen; it tasted like sawdust (not an exaggeration). Please see in the pic, how dry it was. Came in on 02/20 @ 3pm. Super clean!! Condiment station, tables, counters. Very polite staff. Courteous and friendly. Ordered to go and everything was packaged nicely, with care and all the extras. Ordered Spicy Chicken Penne......wow! Pleasantly surprised how fresh it was. Chicken was tender and mushrooms were cooked perfect!! Very good! And I'm not easily satisfied with truck stop food. Wow really impressed with this location. I love Fazolis when traveling! It's a fast food meal without the fast food grease and same ole same ole. This Fazoli's was by far the best!!! Food was served on real dishes, everything the eye could see was immaculately clean and the friendly service was remarkable!! The cashier brought the food to the table with a tray stand and fresh grated Parmesan just like at a full service restaurant. The food was great, and very reasonable for the quantity and quality. It's been a while since I've eaten at a Fazoli's and it was somewhat dated when I did but Fazoli's has really rallied back revamping their menu and this location just boosted my opinion based on the cleanliness and friendly customer service ice. read more

Update... Tonight I stopped in to get some food Togo.. well I placed my order say and waited. And waited. And waited!! Then a guy who placed a large order way after my order. Hey his food!! Before mine.. and come to find out that my order was used to fill his order!! So I was just going to ask for my money back and leave. Ordered 2 slices of pizza - pepperoni, spicy sausage and mushroom. You don't have a button for spicy sausage so she had to tell the cook. I should have looked before I was 10 miles away - so my fault. 1 slice had only sausage 1 slice had pepperoni and regular sausage (not the spicy kind) and no mushrooms on either piece. I love to eat at this chain . However I have to admit my recent visit was not where it should be. When I came in it seemed I was interrupting them guess there is no uniform here any longer I asked for my order does here but in a to go plate. Only received the initial bread sticks ..2.. and never once did anyone come back out to see if I needed more. The lady at the cash register was extremely rude and had an attitude with pretty much everyone that ordered. She said they were out of ranch dressing and listed the ones they had, so we asked for a caesar salad, then she said we are out of Caesar and got mouthy. I just ate here. For the first time. This restaurant is in a truck stop. The food is great. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is great. The pizza has a great flavor. The food was so much better than what I was expecting! My Caesar salad was really crisp and the dressing had good flavor. I got the chicken Alfredo special and loved it also. I was impressed by the fact that the food is served on actual dishes, which sounds weird but it adds a nice touch. Everything was very clean, and the high chair for my one year old daughter even came with a cover. That's a big plus for me, public high chairs can sometimes be a little icky. The price for my dad and me to eat was under $20 and we were very full when we left. Everyone working there was so gracious and pleasant, especially to my daughter.
