I couldn't recommend NOT using cabinet outlet enough. The cabinets are cheap cheap cheap (not…read moreinexpensive -- just cheap), and it's not like we got the basic model of anything. Beside some annoyances after sale (things we got like inserts were all of a sudden discontinued, etc.), not that long after we began using our kitchen, the cabinet doors were getting loose and falling off the hinges because the provided screws were so short, which we had someone replace with longer screws. The paint or whatever is on the outside of the cabinet is chipping severely in many places with general use revealing the wood underneath, and has been since a few months after getting the cabinets. And the faucet we got from cabinet outlet stopped working about a year into having the kitchen (it had a switch back and forth between sprayer and stream, and now, regardless of which way the switch is, it's both a spray and stream at the same time). We're a normal family that isn't very rough with our things. We've never had this issue in other houses. Just this morning I was making coffee and had the realization that we're going to have to pour more money into the kitchen to repair these things.

We also incurred several hundred dollars in additional charges throughout the process. After weeks of coordinating, they canceled the installation an hour before the appointment not once, but twice. You would expect the second attempt to be handled better, but it wasn't. After that second last-minute cancellation, we requested a refund. It has now been over a month, and we still have not received our money back, nor have we received any meaningful communication or updates from them. The lack of professionalism and accountability has been unbelievable. At this point, we cannot recommend this company to anyone.

We had interviewed a few other firms that were basically acting as "Yes Men" just replying in the affirmative for any suggestions that we made. That is not what we wanted. Her suggestions were spot on and resulted in a spectacular remodel. The work done by GSC was great with solid attention to detail. All of the subs (plumbing, granite, drywall) were all excellent as well. All very nice and respectful. No issues with their work and we felt very comfortable with them in our house. We highly recommend GSC if you are thinking of building or updating your kitchen.
