The staff is normally friendly and helpful, there's valet if you really desire and the security guards are always friendly if you need helping finding which floor & desk to go to. This is not the closest clinic to me, but it's the one I choose to go to because it's such a better and pleasant experience. The ExpressCare attached to the back is also much better for an urgent care as well. Maybe the only bad thing is getting in and out of the clinic- it's on one of the only steep inclines in Lakeland along the busy 540A so that can get a little tricky.

On my first visit I had bloodwork and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol.Only a few months prior I had bloodwork at Watson and nothing was found in regard to either issue. I am now on multiple meds to treat both. My neighbor's son went to Watson and was misdiagnosed for almost 2 years before it was discovered he had Cancer. Robinson Family Clinic has been an answer to my prayers. They are a medical facility but they take a much more holistic approach to care, which is what I'd been praying for. They are all caring and friendly and I feel truly cared for, not like I'm just a patient number on a chart, which is how I've felt everywhere else. I truly feel listened to and cared about. How brain dead do you have to be to think you should expose someone to a drug when you have zero clue if they might have a reaction to it? But most importantly, I was there for something in my MOUTH! You do not need a scope or anything messing with the nose for exam or treatment, yet she was blindly going to administer it. Incompetent and asking for a law suit! Next, the practitioner Jessica came in and asked me why I was there. Again, READ the chart! So I told her. I knew exactly what the diagnosis was already, because it was obvious. I just needed the correct treatment. She got all cocky and said, "Oh, what makes you think it's that?" I have ZERO patience for medical staff with a god complex. I didn't tolerate them when working, and I certainly will not now. Get over yourself and do you job. No one is here to worship you. You are here to serve with respect.

I used to love Reliance when I first started going there. They were a dream. Then, my doctor left…read moreand several others left as well. It went seriously downhill after that. I became sick with an abscess that was infected, on a Friday night. I had to go to the ER. I called Reliance on Monday and they said I "had" to come in because it's their policy after an ER visit. I needed to have the abscess drained after being on antibiotics for 2 days, per the ER instructions. My primary care, Reliance, refused to provide me with even basic medical care. I was told they don't do that but they still wanted me to come in. They really want that Medicare payment for doing absolutely NOTHING! They basically have become a "walk in and let us write a referral for you" mill. That's just the tip of the iceberg. They advertise they provide transportation, then when it's time for you to go back home, they put you in an Uber with a psychotic driver that flashed a gun at me and told me to get out of her car!! Mind you, I'm a disabled senior. Basically, my best advice is to run, don't walk. You will be fine there as long as you're healthy, but if you get sick, they're not going to take care of you, and they don't care!
