If only I could give AMIC 0 stars. This place is so unprofessional and disrespectful to their…read morepatients. The medical director or his wife do not return phone calls.. I was with the practice for 7 years and I think I had 5 Doctors in that time frame. They can't keep physicians or staff..If they treat there physicians and staff like they do their patients.. I can see why. I don't think I have ever wrote a negative review this being the first. I have had several problems with them. With them recently getting worse. In March I called about my 21 year old son(technically not my son I am his legal guardian my best friend his mother passed away 7 years ago) I had got a phone call from his school nurse stating there was tinge of blood in his pull-up. This was a Friday afternoon and I was trying to get a hold of the doctors at one of the locations. They never passed the phone call along.. I wanted to get a urine sample at home and take it to the doctors office especially because he does not do well in a public setting trying to get a urine sample.. when I called back after not receiving a phone call. I asked him what I was supposed to do because I was leaving for vacation over the weekend. I was put on hold and when they got back to me, I was told to just take him to the emergency room and if they could not get a urine sample, they'll just hold him down and put a catheter in. Apparently, they have no experience with people with special needs. That would've been a traumatizing situation for him. Approximately a month and a half later, I had asked for a doctors note for my employer. The first note that was given to me listed most, but not all of my medical conditions and then when I receive the second letter, they basically made it out that I could do nothing. I was told that was the final note that I would need to go to physical therapy. In order to back up the Dr notes I have two documented medical conditions, one of the medical conditions people are actually getting disability for.. I would not go to physical therapy because my conditions will never get better. They'll only get worse. I was dealing with them for approximately a month with asking them to return phone calls.. I never received phone calls back and every time I called into the call center I got sarcasm unprofessional people on the other end.. admit at the very end I got very hostile and that was on a Friday.. On Monday, my husband I called to make an appointment for an issue. He was having they told my husband his account wasn't active right now because he owed $25 my husband said no problem I'll pay that and they continued to make an appointment for that very same day. My husband drove 30 minutes to get to the doctors office and they told him he did not have an appointment he said yes he did. He just made it today. They asked him three times if the appointment was for him and he said yes and I just made the appointment today. They would not see him so the following day, which was a Tuesday. I received a phone call finally from the office stating because of interactions with them, they will no longer see me. At this point I already decided that it was time for me to depart this practice.. I asked them kindly if they would still keep seeing my son and they were like who's your son. I told him I reminded them that he had down syndrome and they said they would still see him if I came in the office and I behaved.. well at that point I also decided he won't be going back there because apparently they do not care or know anything about our situation if they did, they would have more compassion.. There is a lot more to the story but hopefully this was enough to forewarn anybody that might be thinking of seeking medical care from them if you value your physical or mental health. BEWARE STAY AWAY..

They have changed the Phone service, I tried calling 6 times yesterday. AI answered 1 time and I…read moresaid needed a live agent waited 4 minutes and it hung up on me. When I finally go someone I explained the issues. Did not mention my BP issue. it got a lot higher today. Today I tried called the Dr because am having BP problems, it has been high for over a week. same issue, it took me holding and holding to finally get the call center. She said she would notify the office and call me right back. Well that was 5 hours ago. No One called. I needed to know if I could take an extra BP pill in the middle of the day. I have no Idea. So this office issues is not good if you have an emergency. They have changed total staff also. I hate looking for a new Dr but this has to change or I will have to. I have been blessed to have the service of Fab and Alma and what they do for us. I pray they realize this issue and get it fixed soon. I like the Dr.

My experience with the staff and how I was treated from ER to being admitted. I'm one of those who…read moredon't go to the hospital until it's too late and I require being admitted. I was quickly triaged and placed in the ER with a very caring RN by the name of Justin. He was very kind and personable. We talked about the USMC and sports. The bedside manner was exactly what patients need they aren't feeling well. Once I was admitted, I was brought up to Charlie 2 (Room C2227) and was under the care of RNs Kim Garno and Meg (not sure of her last name). Both of these women were caring and understanding. It became very evident that each of the nurses I encountered during my stay here LOVE their job. They care about people and want to be part of the healing process. This speaks volumes about the facility that is being operated here. I do hope that a copy of this is provided to each of the nurses I have named here and a copy is retained for the employee file. I know we are always so quick to say how things went bad or how we were mistreated. I can imagine how difficult it is to work with people who are in pain all the time. These nurses deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication to their patients. Feeling safe and cared for while under their care when one is at there most vulnerable is a huge thing. Respectfully, while I hope to keep my distance from your facility moving forward, I will recommend it. This is healthcare the makes a difference. Thank you for such a positive experience during a difficult time.

This review is for the night labor and delivery nurse Jordyn, she was very rude. She was introduced…read moreto me when it was shift change. My morning nurse was amazing!!!!!! Loved her so much she helped me all throughout my labor. But then Jordyn came along and it was the worse experience ever after she came along. The fetal monitor came up a little bit because the prior nurse was moving me around and was getting me ready to get an epidural, before she came in I had just thrown up so I was weirdly positioned. I told Jordyn "sorry I'm having a contraction" before she could introduce herself so she didn't think I was just ignoring her and she says " you are?????" With a rude attitude like excuse me???? You think I would just say that just to say it???? She was just so rude and she had to call over other nurses throughout the night to check how much I was dilated bc she didn't know. After I got the epidural she just threw me around and didn't come back in my room for a while which was fine because I would rather be left alone than deal with her. She was just nasty throughout my whole stay and ruined my labor. Jordyn please do better. Or change specialty's. As for my morning nurse I absolutely adored her.
