He also used hot shaving cream and a straight edge razor for the hair on my neck, something I've never experienced before. He's one of the best barbers I've had, and I'll definitely be back. He is understandably booked out a week or two, so make sure you call in advance for an appointment. I also forgot, they're probably one of the most reasonably priced barbers around, making it by far the best value and quality cuts.

We were skeptical about coming here because of the bad online reviews stating that the barbershop…read morehas been closed whenever customers show up for an appointment. The two occasions we visited, we walked in and there was only one barber, a nice young man in the back. I belive his name is Eric. He was willing and available to cut my son and husband both times. Our son is usually scared of getting his hair cut and the nice young barber in the back got a cool car seat and made it an easy experience for our boy. The cut looked good too! Dad got a handsome haircut and a luxurious beard cleanup. Also, this barber does good brows on men. The customer right before us had gnarly caterpillars for brows and the barber cleaned them up really well. I believe this man's name is Eric. Eric, we appreciate your clean lines and attention to detail. Coming here was way better than the discount chain barbershops in the area that only spend 20 minutes for crooked lines and crappy fades. Worth it!

Breck (Janae's husband) is also such a warm person to be around. The shop is quiet, clean and peaceful. I always leave feeling better than when I initially walked in. Janae truly listens to what I want/need. Even if her schedule is packed I send her a message hoping for a spot. She has accommodated my crazy schedule and I really appreciate her flexibility and creativity.

Veteran Owned Business!!!!…read more I first discovered Breck when he was a barber at the local chop shop. On my first visit, I knew he was a man with a future. He had a vision for a full service barber shop, one that met the needs of the professional, business community, while still servicing the needs of the ordinary client. Within a few months of my first haircut, he opened his own shop, and now he and his wife operate the Alamogordo Grooming Company. (His wife is a beautician and he is a barber.) Breck wanted to break away from the ordinary, and set himself as a cut above. He offers a full array of barber services, including shaves, and even has a hot wax option, for those with special needs. He had a neck and shoulder massager, and still does the hot towel and neck trim, while offering intelligent conversations about any topic of your choice. Or, he'll let you sit quietly. Your choice! He won't hijack you while you're in his chair. He is a master with razor cuts--both electronic and straight, can handle clippers like no one else, BUT, his true strength is his ability to command a pair of scissors! He is as old school as possible, and he relishes the days when a barber was considered a gentleman whose skills set him apart from his competition. His business is expanding, and he now has three chairs! Not bad, for a guy who used to rent a space in a corner shop. He'll never settle for the standard, he'll always seek out the newest trends, and he has his eyes on the horizon. I promise--give him a try and you'll never be satisfied with any other barber. he's THAT good! #todaysdiscovery

Robert and Bobby do a good old fashioned regular haircut that my father and I like. We have been customers for many years and recommend this shop highly. It reminds me of the shop my dad used to take me to when I was a kid. Not a girly shop. Just a regular barbershop where guys get together to talk, laugh and get a good haircut for a decent price. You might have to sit down and wait, but what's the hurry guys!! Also, they were great with my 18 month old grandson. He got his first regular boy's haircut there almost a year ago. Bobby was real patient with him and my grandson enjoyed his experience.
