Miss Krista and Miss Vicky are exceptional teachers and work very hard. Before my daughter started she hardly talked- she is now 2.5 and says full sentences. She sings at home all day too. She has learned so much , emotionally and physically as well. I know she is well loved and taken care of in Miss Krista and Miss Vicky's care.

I bring them to Little Bridge to experience "best practice" in a high-quality home environment. Two of my graduate students and I had a delightful visit to Little Bridge this morning. When we arrived, the children were beginning their dramatic play, and play with manipulative materials. The children were "going to the beach," working with small vehicles, and working with manipulative materials. All twelve children were actively engaged in meaningful activity: planning, negotiating, solving conflicts with the help and support of the two teachers, Stefania and Jessica. After "clean-up," the children joyfully danced and did movement exercises to music, and then washed their hands and had a convivial lunch. Throughout our visit, the children were happy, busy, and confident. It was very apparent that they felt safe and secure. Stefania and Jessica are both experienced teachers with a profound understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate curriculum, and a deep respect for young children. They have provided an environment where children can create, express themselves, learn to work with others, and thrive in all domains--cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. The location has an outdoor play space, which was important to me, as well as an indoor place place for days with less than ideal weather. Classrooms are bright, clean and child-oriented, and weekly schedules are posted for parents. I love the weekly art that gets sent home. Staff is responsive and warm, and the adults are familiar with each child. It's always a warm morning welcome. My work requires an early morning start, so early drop off times were a must- TLE meets this (very) important requirement. When looking into daycare, it was important that my child was stimulated as an infant, but also that this would continue throughout the years I plan on keeping him in the center. The curriculum presented for older children seems cognitively demanding and the way the entire center is run is worth the price I pay :)

It was hard leaving my baby each day, but it was even harder to do this during COVID- they kept the facility clean, alerted us when needed and kept my son healthy during those days. Tutor Time also has great bonuses- access to watch a live feed, picture updates of activities throughout the day, updates about food intake and toileting. They provided breakfast, lunch, snacks, diapers. In addition to the classrooms, they have a playroom and a rooftop playground.

As far as a House Of Worship goes, I do like coming here for Mass on Sunday as its rather close to my apartment building. Its a two plus block walk as opposed to the other churches which as five and ten blocks walk if you were opting for one of those. The interesting thing about this particular church is that there are two sections. The part that the public can enter into and then off to the right hand side of the altar is the section where the nuns sit. You really don't see them unless one is doing one of the readings or when they are going up to receive Communion and I should point out that they are served first and then the public congregants. I've only recently been choosing to come here for the Sunday mass since there is one at 9AM and the priest seems to be visiting from another country. I am not certain that they have a priest of their own in residence for those who are concerned about that. There is an organist and occasional choir up above. There is no proper collection to support the church and school but a basket is available for donations should you be feeling charitable. I also didn't notice any sort of votive candles in this section but there are some beautiful statues and paintings. Other masses are sporadic in times but I do think there is a daily morning mass that begins around 8AM if going there interests you.

My daughter had delayed speech and wasn't speaking at the beginning of the year, but by end of the year became a chatterbox. They really set up the children well for kindergarten and truly take care of your kids. I moved a bit farther away but I wish all my children can come here. I strongly recommend. If your child needs help assimilating to school, they really are patient and help every step of the way. The director before school starts, helps give parents all the information on what to expect on the first day and is very good with communication.
