Brooklyn Math Tutors matched our daughter, a student at Stuyvesant High School, with a great tutor (an MIT grad) who not only knows math and science but also knows how to explain the topics and to connect with our daughter's learning style. In addition, Alexander Friedman, the founder of Brooklyn Math Tutors, truly cares about education and learning, and he has been a thoughtful partner in helping us think through and address the challenges of our daughter's rigorous STEM coursework. We recommend Brooklyn Math Tutors without reservation. Our only regret is that we did not discover Alex and Brooklyn Math Tutors earlier.

Through out the week when i had trouble with classwork i sent him a copy of it through email and he will respond back with great detail. He would also go over other problems similar to the questions i had trouble with in our upcoming tutor sessions. Truly i believe that my success in Math this year belongs to Josh.

Although I attended and graduated college myself I felt helpless when I realized that my nephew was behind on his college applications, financial assistance and overall planning for life after high school. I was disappointed to find out that there were a lot of people who let him down in the process and I had to catch up. I made it my mission to help him but had no idea of where to start being that I was out of my element. I was blessed to find the help of Beyond 12th to not only have a good starting point but guide me through the process. Thanks to their help I was able to find the right schools for his interests as well as those in line with his GPA. Having their guidance I was able to save time and money by not randomly applying but being selective and finding the right schools for him. I would highly recommend Beyond 12th to anyone who is starting the college admissions process as well as those who are trying to catch up like I was. Even though my nephew started the process later than he should have, with the resources of Beyond 12th he not only got into the school he wanted on time but also with the financial assistance he needed.

After some time the school reopened. About a month after reopening the teacher that was removed was reinstated. My child was not involved in the incident and continued to attend. Upon speaking to a teacher during an interview I discovered awkward body language which told me there was more than meets the eye. About a couple of months went by and there was a new teacher's aid. She was not introduced to the parents. This woman did not look friendly which lead me to further investigate without the help of the school. At the students' graduation the school administrators Irene and Shirley and this particular woman that went by the name Ms. Janet did not not show up to celebrate this special moment with the students. Red flags After the last of school, I was contacted by a fellow parent stating that something serious happened at the school. I was told that Ms. Janet was hitting the children. The students were being abused by this monster. The following thought was the teachers have to have known. It broke my heart and made me mad. I write this review in hopes that you think twice about sending your child to this school if it ever reopens in the future which I hope it does not. The administration consist of young irresponsible women who do not have enough information to offer when it comes to staff members. Just a lot of ummmm uhhhh a Hamina ahamina and made up nonsense. And SHAME ON YOU TEACHERS FOR NOT PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN FROM THIS MONSTER. Kudos to the student that bravely spoke out. This review does not warrant an arrogant response. Police reports have been made to support this review.

There's a lot less overhead that you're paying for than with larger GMAT prep tutoring services, even though the tutors are at the same level as them.
