Kristen, nurse practitioner, drew blood to check my kidney function and electrolytes and hooked me up to an IV of fluids with an antiemetic. She was fabulous as was the entire staff. I was there for less than two hours and felt 80% better when I left. She gave me thorough and easy to understand instructions on reaching a full recovery. Thank you!

After 3 days of drops not working I went to Durham urgent care. MY EARDRUM WAS 75% BLOCKED DUE TO EAR WAX THAT HAD EXPANDED WHEN WATER GOT IN MY EAR!!!!! HOW COULD SHE NOT SEE THAT!!! After a different type of ear drop and ear irrigation I can hear! All I got from MedAccess were ear drops for an infection I did not have that cost me 70 dollars. Don't go herei if you want good care by a professional who actually cares about patients!!!

I've been back since and had an experience that made me feel awful. The receptionist and nurse are both super caring and sweet, but Christa was not. One of the check in lady's has been extremely rude. the very first time I took my children here I almost walked out because of this, but I addressed my concerns respectfully and asked that she not check my children in anymore and she didn't for a few times but now it's back to her checking them in. i called yesterday to confirm the time of my child's appointment and the lady on the phone told me 10:30 so I walk in the office today at 10:22. I'm on the phone so I wait to check in because I'm about to hang up, the lady of course goes "what's the name" I states my daughters name and she gets an attitude stating the appointment was at 10. I said I jhst talked to someone yesterday they told me 10:30. she said nope it was at 10. it would be different if she wasn't so nasty about it and maybe attempted to help find a conclusion instead of being totally rude. Not able to find an urgent care that was open midday on a Saturday, in the town I live in, we drove to this office, after calling to see if I could be seen immediately. Since I was expected, I was seen almost immediately after I walked in. The assistant and the PA were very professional. After examination, they were confident that I did not have a stroke. They determined that I should go to the hospital in Hillsborough to more positively rule out a heart attack. (They did. WHEW!)
