Amazingly, they have employed some really helpful and courteous people. The hourly paid store associates get five stars from me. I'd be hard pressed to give two stars to their superiors! The one outstanding and redeeming quality about Ingles is their wonderful sub sandwiches. They use Boar's Head meats. They save the day for Ingles! This stuff is far and beyond better than the meats used at nationally recognizable sub restaurants. It's better than good; it's unreal! Ingles; you still have a long way to go to being on the same level as Publix! Keep serving that fantastic Boar's Head meats on your subs! I'll continue to hang in there with you!

It's currently full of Halloween candy. After that it will be filled with Thanksgiving things; then Christmas and so on. This Walmart and all of the others I've seen are pressed for floor space. After visiting the clean men's room, I stopped in the snacks aisle to pick up something for later and for the rest of my drive. Decently stocked at 8pm and the self-checkout worked well. The parking lot was loud with lots of people coming and going. But that's not an issue if you're not planning to get a night's sleep. After an hour and two "burnouts," I moved to the Cracker Barrel by the highway. [Review 194 of 2025 - 1251 in South Carolina - 23758 overall]

I also bought one bag of frozen chicken tenderloins shelf price 7.69 USD. per bag. At checkout it scanned at 7.99 per bag. The Aldi assistant manager was standing behind the checkout lady when I caught this error. She immediately went to check the price. I was pretty convinced that the higher price was correct as a large number of food items are going up daily. I didn't get an apology and I wasn't looking for one either. I did get a lame explanation as to what happened though. She said the cold temperatures in the freezer caused the correct price to disappear! Ok my three year old grandson would have believed that story! A little insulting but more funny than insulting! This was the first time I've found incorrect pricing at this Aldi and it was comical seeing the shocked expression on the assistant managers face! I still like Aldi a lot!

All twelve hams except for the one I bought had the same expiration date of 11/15/24! I realize these hams are fully cooked and smoked and would probably be ok to consume for a long time! But I don't want one! The meat department had closed and I didn't see any type of manager that I thought was approachable. As I mentioned, this review is about the store on Floyd Baker Bvld.
