I appreciated that honesty and made sure to confirm the distance between us. We were assured our home was within range, which made scheduling easy. We set an appointment just a couple of hours later. When we received the text that he had arrived, my partner in crime went out to meet him, and he got straight to work. The whole process felt efficient and professional. When I finally went outside to hear the verdict, it turned out the issue wasn't nearly as bad (or as expensive) as I had feared, which was a huge relief.
