I've had the unique opportunity to actually see how she cooks. And while it's cliche, she is one of the greats that cooks with her heart. With solid family backing, this young lady makes some of the finest food I've tasted in a long time. With a southern background, I've got a particular taste I like and she nails it. Her gumbo fries today (8/9/24) were on point. The gumbo "sauce" was thickened up to gravy consistency, complimenting the fries perfectly. The spice base was excellent. The shrimp were plentiful and seasoned just right. Real andouilles sausage was the perfect balance. As a side note, this is the small business we need to support. This is NOT a sit down establishment. You order online and pickup. Makes it perfect for Friday nights when you don't want to cook but want good quality home cooked food.
