I lost my home, my car and much of my life in the process. I explained my situation when opening an account with Bank of America as one of my friends contacted my mother to get my info as he/she wanted to wire money into my account to get me through until social security kicked in. My friend didn't want me to know who it was as he/she knew I would not accept it. Nearly three months ago the deposit was made into my account and cleared. In fact it is still in my account. I woke up the day after it had cleared and saw a negative $888,888.88 taken out of my account. It turns out they froze my account. Then when I spoke to them on the phone line I was directed to, unknowing what was going on, they were extremely rude and said that they were placing a freeze on my account for upto 90 days and that my account would be closed and I could no longer bank with b of a. Since, I have nothing, no help, no where to turn. I'm over two months behind on rent as well as car payments, no money for food or bills and the worst part is, I see the money in the bank on every statement yet have heard nothing back. I thought banks were supposed to help us, not take food and shelter away from us. As if the government assistance situation isn't bad enough, am institution like Bank of America can force me out of house and home. I have been a very successful business man and my businesses have deposited over $25,000,000 over my career. I will spend my entire life letting everyone I know how much extra stress, pressure and pain that Bank of America has brought to my life. I think it is a disgusting act of power and the fact that they can jeopardize people's lives for this long should be a crime in itself. Think twice before joining b of a as you never know when the hardships of life will change your circumstances. Find a bank that helps you through them, not accentuate the problems. To whoever is in charge of these situations, you should be grossly ashamed of yourself and your company for the way I've been treated and how it has affected my life.

We ordered new checks online and had the unfortunate experience of them being stolen and fraudulent checks written with my signature forged. We called the fraud line and they were of no assistance, so. much so that they allowed a fraudulently written check to be cashed after I had already reported it and did not approve the transaction in the mobile app. We made an appointment with the bank locally, and their staff is so dismissive and quite frankly not trained and unprofessional. It's unfortunate when one has to dread both calling the national hotline and going into their local bank. Thankfully, the postal service is assisting us with the fraud case, as it's a federal crime.

I haven't been able to sign in since without having to call them and have them get me through the new horrible poorly designed non user friendly web site. I'm not near their office. I now live in Colorado. This is never going to be an institution I would recommend to even my worst enemy. It's a credit union so I thought it would be decent. The new web site sucks! I hate it and will never use them again once my car is payed off. They need to revamp the web site. I can't even sign on now because it doesn't accept my user IS or the password. He also talked to me about the importance of adding it on my insurance despite it being a cash purchase. Mike provided the extra service of dropping the car at my home as the dealership is 1/2 hr away and 'taking an Uber would cost you a lot'. The truck arrived with a fresh wash and gas. Mike was pleasant to work with. I will check out Galaxy Motors again if I am in need of a used vehicle in the future.
