My 14 y/o dog went there for senior dog check-up. We wanted to get a prescription renewed which…read morerequired the dog be seen. Dr. Jones was seeing her; a new vet to us. We were told dog needed rabies vax. We didn't think so but they said they checked their records and it was needed so they gave her the vax. The vet listened to dog's heart, spoke about ways to deal with elderly dog issues and then left. We got a written prescription at the front desk and discovered the vet only gave dog 2 refills. I asked why and was told it's vet's discretion as to number of refills. (Previous vet gave 6 months of refill.) As this office charges $10 per written script (they will not speak w outside pharmacies by phone) I could see reasoning is most definitely monetary - less refills, more scripts at $10 a pop! When we got home I checked my dog's records and found that she did not need rabies vax yet - a certificate given to us by same vet office showed dog's vax was good til 2027! When I raised this issue to them, they brushed it off as maybe a new computer glitch. No apology, no concern about our dog and no refund offered. This entire outing cost $158.00! Imagine! My recommendation is steer clear! ***update*** - to be fair, a "site leader" from vet center did reach out 2 days later to offer a refund for vax. He also indicated that we should call about refills and perhaps they would be granted and we wouldn't have to bring our dog in to see vet. In my world, this is is damage control - the experience has been upsetting and distasteful!

I've had good care for the last couple of years until recently, they gave my Chihuahua the wrong…read moremedication and then just told me to use it anyway because they didn't want to give a refund. They did finally agree to give me a refund, but they also missed vaccinations for my other Chihuahua that I had been bringing in regularly for Care. When I asked Dr. Gillette why or how they missed those vaccinations she said she didn't know. Their prices have gone sky high as with every corporate entity. You know this country is capitalistic everything's about making as much money on whatever you can use to make money. I think it's time for me to look around for someone that will give better care and not charge me a mortgage payment to see my dog.

I live on Long Island and had use a vet down here who did a wonderful job with my German Shepard…read morewho does not - under any circumstances - want his nails trimmed. I also had them clean his ears. They sedated him and the bill was almost $1,000. They did a wonderful job, but I needed his nails trimmed again, but was having a hard time with the cost. On a recommendation from a close friend, I was referred to Dr. Sniderman who clips both her dog's nails with a mild oral sedation and a house call (house call!!) I arrived, put the muzzle on my big boy and went inside. The doctor (and staff!) was very welcoming and petted Max as though they were old friends. I said he may have to sedate him. He said, "No, I don't think so." I was worried, but he reassured me sedation would not be necessary. After looking over Max for a couple of minutes he called in an assistant and then this happened. Max was on the exam table and Dr. Sniderman picked him up from his torso, while the assistant clipped Max's rear nails then his front. Done! That was it! It took all of two minutes!! I would never have believed it possible!! Obviously Max felt very comfortable with him. Dr. Sniderman then spoke with me about training and recommended a new lead. He also prescribed, and filled, medicine for me to use next time just to take the edge off Max and put him at ease. The visit was an unqualified success and I would recommend anyone with a big strong dog (or even a small strong dog!) to visit this office. The cost was a fraction of what I paid previously and both Dr. Sniderman and his staff were a pleasure to visit!
