Some of these chiropractors were good, and some were very good. Dr. Esposito, however, is great. He's not just another "back cracker", as he focuses most heavily on stretching. That change in method/focus for my treatment, along with some nutrition suggestions and general good advice in terms of changing some basic habits, has attributed heavily to a seemingly-impossible level of improvement in my spinal and disc health on a recent MRI, compared to a bleak-looking one just five years prior. I only tend to go to his office once every three weeks or so, but each time I leave feeling a little better, and a little wiser.

His staff are very caring and kind, the waiting period was not long at all. I went for my left shoulder as I have a tear, he took time to explained and answer all my questions,. Easy to talk to and he truly listens you and a wonderful bed side manner. I came out feeling at ease that I do not require surgery, as he is not one of those doctors that likes to cut people right away. I liked his honesty.

Recently I fell, and I injured my hands, my right shoulder and hip as well as my left knee. All were x-rayed and thank goodness I didn't break a bone. I went to see Dr. Weinstein a few days after my accident and told him what I did and what had been done. He came in to the room for maybe 2 minutes and decided by the few things he checked that I had " NO TEARS AND I WOULD BE JUST FINE WITH PHYSICAL THERAPY "!!!! Those were his words!!! I knew I had a problem. I asked for scans of my shoulder, hip and knee. He told me point blank my insurance wouldn't pay for those unless I went for PT first!!!! I left very angry. I have a good friend who works with many orthopedic doctors in NJ. She got me in with one of her doctors the very next day. I saw her doctor who re-xrayed me. As well as telling me I needed 3 MRI's STAT!!!! That evening I had 3 MRI's performed with insurance approval... I found out that I have 2 tears in my shoulder and I tore my hamstring!!! So as far as Dr. Weinstein is concerned will never be returning!!! Unfortunately I feel his care has become subpar, he is controlled by insurance and he doesn't listen to his patients whatsoever!!! I explained what I did, how much pain I had and he dismissed me like I was a five year old!!! Never ever again !!!!

The doctors at Specialty Orthopedics are outstanding. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and…read moregenuinely take the time to listen. The medical care I've received has always been excellent, and the physicians are the only reason I continue coming to this practice. Unfortunately, the front office has been one of the worst experiences I've had with any medical practice. My interactions with the office staff have been consistently frustrating and, at times, upsetting. They often come across as rude, dismissive, and combative, making patients feel like they are a nuisance simply for calling the office. On one occasion, a staff member answered the phone by saying, "What do you want?" in an abrasive tone, which was completely unprofessional. Michelle, in particular, has repeatedly been difficult to work with and has come across as unkind and unwilling to help. Phone calls frequently go unanswered or are never returned, appointments have been scheduled incorrectly, and I've received conflicting information from the office on multiple occasions. Instead of helping resolve issues, interactions often create more confusion and unnecessary stress. It's incredibly disappointing because the physicians provide exceptional care, but the front office experience consistently falls far below that standard. I sincerely hope the practice addresses these concerns, as patients deserve to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism from the moment they contact the office.

I booked the surgery then had second thoughts about it so I cancelled. I asked if I should wear a knee brace in the mean time. Dr. Haig said "No it's already torn it won't do any good" I went for a second opinion and the second doctor, who looked at the same MRI, gave me a knee brace and prescribed PT for 6 weeks. The PT has been great it has been at least 6 months since the time I was going to have the surgery and my knee is so much better! Perhaps in the future I may need surgery but I feel surgery should have been a last resort not a first! I was very disappointed in this care I got!
