Jcpenney in Washington Mo owes me nothing, I went there, not really looking for much of anything,…read morebut came out with a bunch of everything. This was a tax-free weekend, and on top of that, the sales were awesome, I saved a lot of money on all of the fabulous deals and when I got to the register the cashier game me a coupon that reveals a savings of 30, 40 or 50% and wouldn't you know my coupon was the 50% off. I live about 45 minutes away from this JC Penney but will definitely make it my business to visit again. Everyone from the customers to the employees was friendly.

Went in to the Washington store to get shoes and do a little shopping. Not much to offer in the shoe department for larger feet, then headed to the plus size and why is it you want to dress the plus size women in old lady garb or wild colors that make us look like we are part of the circus. I have not had much luck at this store for a few years in finding anything for the larger gal. Headed up front to checkout with my shoes and tank. Me and the girls stood around talking waiting for someone to acknowledge us to check us out. There were 2 gals busy about 20 feet away arranging clothes, they did see us never said a word. We herd over the paging system to get help for checking customer out. We waited and waited, seen a lady running to hang some dresses up and thought OK shes coming. NOPE. Then another gal starts heading our way and turns the other direction as well. I said I will take my business elsewhere put the items on the counter and walked out. All she could say was OH I'm Sorry, Are you sorry becasue you didn't pay attention to your job and care about customer satisfaction or just making a statement. This store does not care to help customers, but the clothing laid out looks great. I took my business to Cato's, Maurice's and then to Target. Penny's did not just lose the 70.00 I would have spent but a customer that has been when them since 1994 and spent thousands of dollars over the years. I wouldn't hire anyone for my business if they said they used to work for JC Penny.

Every time I think I will give Sally's Beauty Supply another chance, I end up really disappointed…read more The most recent incident occurred today, and honestly, I don't think I will ever go back. I went to get extensions to use for my wedding, which is in about 3 weeks. The first time I went, the selection of clip in extensions was nearly gone. I asked if they would be getting more and was told yes-- So I came back, and again, the selection of what I was looking for was depleted. I asked a staff member for help, and in the middle of my question, she walked away, and went to the register to check out someone else. There was already another team member at the front helping others, but I didn't say anything. I patiently waited. She finally returned, and told me that they aren't getting any more of what I wanted and that they are discontinuing the product until October. I asked if I could go ANYWHERE to find it and was told no, all Sally's are sold out. My exact question was, "So you're positive that if I leave and call any other store, they will not have this product?" They insisted, no. So I settled for a different product that was still quite expensive. After leaving, I started calling other stores, and indeed, another store DID have exactly what I was looking for. Then they would not refund or exchange the product I had just purchased and not opened. This was literally 5 minutes later. I stood in the parking lot to make calls. The customer service is awful, and once again, I will never go back. I am so glad an Ulta's just opened in the area (who will refund or exchange ANYTHING within 60 days of purchase). Word of mouth will go a long way with me.
