Since then I have been informed that they will be making improvements to this inconvenience in the near future! Gas prices were competitive with the surrounding area, but overall they are slightly higher in Williamsburg than they are a bit farther South.

I also needed a piece of fresh fish, but the Seafood counter looks ghastly, there's no way I'd get fresh seafood from here. But the worst part, on a SATURDAY, there was one cashier open and everything else was Self-Checkout. Bizarrely, all the manned cashier lanes say they are express (12 items). So fine I'll check out my entire shopping cart myself. There's too much superior competition in this area to ever return to Food Lion.
