Another amazing spot!
The Bryce Canyon area was named after a homesteader named Ebenezer Bryce who moved to the area in 1874. Bryce Canyon and the area around it was originally designated as a national monument by President Harding in 1923 and 5 years later re-designated as a national park by the Congress.
Farview Point is one of the scenic stops along UT-63. When you stop there, make sure to take a short hike to Privacy Point and get your camera working! The view is amazing, but many people do not take the time. Don't be one of them! :-) read more
