Choosing our songlist was challenging - especially because the quintet sends over this giant spreadsheet with hundreds of songs that they are able to play.. but luckily they knew the songs to match our general vibe. For the welcome music and cocktail hour, we were looking for broadway/Disney music with special emphasis on musicals/movies that we love. We had specific song requests for the processional and recessional. The Left Coast Quintet handled everything perfectly - they nailed our welcome/cocktail music (and we got so many compliments from guests). We were too busy taking photos to really enjoy it, but I'm pretty sure our best photos were when the quintet played Defying Gravity. The quintet also seamlessly looped Concerning Hobbits during our longer than expected processional which I really appreciated. It's a bit awkward because we never actually talked to the quintet.. they just sort of appeared before our processional and left after our cocktail hour.. While watching my wedding video I thought that the videographer had used a CD because the sound quality was exceptional. They showed up early and prepared to my client consultation meeting and the day of my wedding. I wanted my wedding vendors to match the style of my wedding, and they showed up looking classy, professional, and youthful. (Unlike most white hired aged string ensembles). As my situation continued to change and develop they were sweet, flexible and extremely accommodating. They were willing to travel to my out of the way location.. I asked for several non-traditional pieces and they took the time to arrange the songs to fit for my wedding entrance and exit. Pricing wise, they gave me the best deal I could find, and I loved how they opened the door for negotiating the price down stating "We want to fit with your budget needs."
