DO NOT USE OR TRUST BUDGET PLUMBING HEATING AND AIR! Colt Plotke and Brian Calfee basically…read morehustled me to get my plumbing job...a pretty major job for a home owner. Ripping out my sewer lines and replacing them to my septic. Call me crazy, but when you have sewer lines replaced outside, one would think that would include actually burying them. The gist is, I own a cabin that I rent on Airbnb. I don't live in the area, but my parents do. However, they both had Covid pneumonia and weren't able to be there for the work to really monitor what was going on. Colt asked that I just trust them, have some faith. I stupidly chose to do just that. Even after explaining to them that I was a single mom on a pretty strapped budget and that $5k was literally everything from my savings, they still did this. Unfortunately, I had a renter coming to stay at the Airbnb, and had to have the job completed before they arrived, so I was on a bit of a time crunch. They quoted me a price between $5-7k to do the job. I told them my cap was $5k, and if the job would be any higher than that, I'd need to continue shopping around. They took the job, and said they would do it for $5k. That is on the contract we signed. I had a great conversation with the both of them, Brian and Colt both assured me they would leave me 100% satisfied, would guarantee their work, would give me a price breakdown of where the money was going. I got none of that. Instead, what I got were excuses as to why they couldn't give me a breakdown of cost for labor, parts, and the use of machinery. I also got the pipe they replaced left, rather than being taken as trash, and now have to find a way to dispose of. I also got pipes that are literally sitting above the ground. Just waiting to freeze, because instead of burying them, they covered them with pea gravel, which the rain promptly washed away two days later. When my dad went to check, everything was sitting exposed. I contacted Colt, as he is the owner. I sent him pictures and a video of how it looked. My driveway was caved in from not being filled properly on the part that was covered. They took about 3 ft off my driveway, by placing a clean out where it will be in the way of anyone pulling in. And of course, the 75-100ft of pipe that was sitting above ground and exposed. He proceeded to tell me I'd have to hire a landscaper to come bring in dirt and more gravel to cover (even tho gravel was supposed to be part of my contract). He had Brian call me (he refused to call me back) and Brian did a lot of yelling at me, then hung up on me. I texted Colt multiple times, only to be ignored. I asked him today if my work is still guaranteed if the pipes freeze and bust as a result of him not having them buried, and extended one last olive branch to try to get them to finish the job they started, and his response was to stop texting him. He referred to him having a contract with Deer Lake golf courses in his pitch to get me to go with them. I asked if they or any of their other customers would be happy with having their sewer lines left above ground. I have never dealt with more unprofessional, scam artists. I have pictures and the contract I'd be happy to share with anyone considering using this company so you can see what you'd be getting yourself into. Please beware of their ethics if you choose to go with them.

They called the very next morning saying they could send out a tech because he was near us. Tech showed up 5 minutes after the call, and checked everything out crawling all over under the house. Was completely honest with us and only charged us the initial fee!! Extremely personal and honest. I highly recommend them.

We have been using A&D for 10 years to keep our now 20 year old Geothermal system running. During…read morethat time we had to have some parts replaced such as the blower motor and water circulation pumps and the old girl was starting to show her age. Last Fall I bought a new high efficiency 5 ton unit from a manufacture /supplier and Dan, Jen and the crew installed it over a two day period. Problems inherent to the unit materialized immediately but Dan worked very hard to get the unit running in heat mode well enough to get us through last winter without a hitch. This involved having to troubleshoot the unit, talk with the manufacture then return to fit parts supplied under warranty. Then the days started getting warmer again. The unit just would not cool correctly. A number of service visits and calls to the manufacture ensued until there service department at the manufacture's factory declared the TXV defective and supplied a new valve and filter which Dan had to install by brazing it into the lines after he had cut the old units out. This was a big job; the refrigerant had to be recovered, the parts installed, the system vacuumed down and then recharged. This seems to have corrected our cooling problems and we are back to having full AC after only having about 75% cooling during the worst of this summer. The labor was not covered by the manufacture and Dan covered us out of his own pocket under his company's 1 year full warranty. You just do not get this sort of service from most companies today. If you need plumbing, heating, air conditioning, heat pump including geothermal heat pump installation or service you will not find a better company or people. Thank you guys, P&D

Brian and Zach arrived w/ parts for multiple possible issues- reflecting their knowledge and experience. We scheduled the installation and that is when the problems started. The techs were obviously newer and were at our house until after 11 pm, after telling us they would be done around 5. They struggled to troubleshoot the issue and ultimately my husband had to figure it out after they left. He discovered that a component was not working, and Colin confirmed (who is also very knowledgeable), but then once the part came in the same tech that did the installation was sent to install the new parts. He was confused and communicated that the wrong part was ordered. My husband again had to assist and Colin confirmed that it was the correct part and just had to be installed a different way. The part was installed and we thought it was working only to find out later that it is wired backwards resulting in our basement being freezing and our upstairs being hot. All of the delays have resulted in higher utility bills because our system has been running non-stop in high heat days. Considering the cost of a new system, I expected better and my husband should not have to assist people who are trained to perform these installations.

However, that was the beginning of a year of headaches and runarounds. First of all, the unit they put in was entirely too big for the house (a 4 ton unit for a 1500 sq ft house). This was admitted by the techs when we called them out to address the extreme humidity in the house (80%+ humidity with the AC on), which was caused by having an oversized and overpowered unit. So we were given a unit completely inappropriate to what we needed, and charged more for it. This caused us headaches throughout the year. Fast forward to this winter, and we are having more issues with this year old furnace. We had to call them out twice in the course of a week to do repairs, at least one of those because the furnace froze up due to no one having thought of running a vent down to the cellar. We've ended up paying what is likely thousands of dollars more than is necessary stemming from this brand new unit which has given us far more grief than our previous unit ever did prior to it going out. Maybe my situation was unique, because I see all the positive reviews otherwise. However, if I were to recommend anyone to a friend, I would not recommend All Klear anymore. They've lost my confidence entirely.
