The only reason I'm giving this B&B 5 stars is because I can't give them 10!
My wife and I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts, this is now my favorite one. Conrad and Ute (oo-ta) are amazing hosts, they are incredibly hospitable and just all around inspiring people. Their land is beautiful and incredibly large. Their love for their animals is only out weighed by their love for each other. There were so many things to do of the farm, from petting Maxi and Molly (their incredible sweet dogs) to feeding their 30 or so long horn cattle, petting their horses, petting their goats and sheep, visiting their wonderfully crafted wood work in their wood shop (shout out to Barry), eating their locally raised honey straight from their hives, and of course just relaxing outside and taking in the view. Hopefully you visit there during a clear night sky, the open sky on their property is wonderful for relaxing and star gazing. As such, remember you're off the beaten path here. So if you're hungry let them know ahead of time, and they can prepare a pizza for you the their brick oven. The breakfast was very good, Conrad made eggs from their chicken and toast from his made from scratch sourdough bread (best I've had) and of course their honey! It's was simple not too heavy and literally fresh as you can get. Now on to the rooms...clean! I can not tell you how wonderful that in its self is. I'm sure you would agree how incredible that is while traveling. The pictures on their website DO NOT do their home justice. We were blown away when we got there. Handmade wood fixtures, flooring, and doors (from their shop of course). Side bar their hanging barn doors in the B&B are one of a kind they left the wood as it's naturally shaped. They look like trees that were just planed, they're beautiful (sorry I'm a bit of a wood working fan, and I get a little too excited about things some might not, but they're cool dang it). We stayed in the Sante fe room it was gorgeous, clean, and huge. I can not recommend this stay enough! read more
