Park is back off the road a bit so noise not much of an issue. Mostly gravel (you will get a bit dirty) and very wide interior roads (much appreciated). Impressive - every site appeared level or mostly level! Decent amount of space between mostsites with some grass and small bushes/trees. Lots of long term (which are closer together) but they all appeared tidy. We were in a premium (and seemingly fairly new)site which was concrete and pretty darn level. Cool littlesetup with a picnic table, cafe table set, charcoal grill (think state park), attractive rock fire pit and fancy outdoor lighting. They have cable but we didn't use it. The WII FI was very slow so we used our hot spots. Verizon 4g 3 bars. Full sun so satellite would not be a problem. WII FI not so good in our site so we used our hot spots. We were advised to check out the bathrooms - so we did :) They are fantastic and appear brand new! Two individual rooms with modern tiled walls, floors, and shower. And it is a party shower - it is huge! Sparkling clean with simple touches of decorations. Touch-less soap and paper towels. There is a splash park and playground for those with kids. We would definitely stay here again especially if we could have the same site (83).

Russ explained that he had a spot and let him know when I get close. I called Russ at 1:30 am on my arrival date. Russ came out and help me set up my fifth wheel. That is the kind of service you get at country critter. Very friendly, always there to help. I stayed for 4 months. I hated to go but it was time to move on to the next spot. If the foot traffic wasn't enough to get the adrenaline going, the main event arrived exactly thirty minutes later. ​At 6:22 AM, a fleet of cement trucks rolled in like they were prepping for a high-speed foundation pour. Apparently, the "Quiet Hours until 7:00 AM" rule is more of a polite suggestion than a requirement when heavy machinery is involved. ​The Current Situation: ​The Soundtrack: A rhythmic, piercing symphony of "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP" echoing through the trees and campers. ​The View: Massive spinning drums instead of the sunrise. ​The Trap: They've managed to park exactly where we need to exit. We aren't just awake; we're officially held hostage by infrastructure. ​I'm all for progress, but maybe we could wait until the coffee is brewed before turning the campground into an industrial zone? If you need me, I'll be sitting in my camp chair with others, staring pointedly at my watch until 7:01.
