Not much of a Farmer's Market. Only 3 produce strands and 1 legit one. All other stands were fast food.

Seriously a GREAT farmer's market! Love going! Food to eat there in the spot, great selection of…read morefruits and vegetables, always a fun crowd, and everyone is very kind. We have never had a bad experience there. Although parking can be challenging, it's worth it!

It seems you are the one having difficulty remembering what happened. First, you asked what task my…read moreservice animal performs, and I explained that I have seizures. You proceeded to ask again, and I clarified that he detects seizures. I also explained that my friend has lupus and was struggling with the sun beating down on her while the wind blew her protective umbrella around. I was stressing the point that, we were being delayed by this unnecessary conversation. My dog was in his inclosed stroller to protect his paws from the hot pavement. Just to clarify, a service dog can alert someone to an impending seizure without being on foot. I'll leave it to you to educate yourself on how that works. You also misrepresented my words by claiming I said, "I'm going to leave a nasty review." What I actually said was, "I'm going to leave you a bad review," and I called you a ridiculous person. Those are not the same statements. I didn't verbally assault the staff I barely verbally assaulted you but all of my anger was definitely directed at you only. Honestly, your behavior came across as an attempt to exert control over the situation rather than provide any meaningful assistance. The suggestion that I should allow strangers to watch my service animal--or any pet--is bizarre and unreasonable. I also clearly stated that farmers markets throughout the greater Los Angeles area have never taken issue with my service animal being present. Rather than dismissing my experience, you should take the time to educate yourself on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the rules governing service animals. Under the ADA, staff may ask whether an animal is required because of a disability and what work or task the animal has been trained to perform. Once I explained that I have seizures and that my dog detects them, you had the information necessary to address the situation appropriately. Disagreeing with my answer does not give you the authority to arbitrarily prevent me from shopping. Throughout this interaction, you maintained a smile while behaving in a passive-aggressive manner. At no point did I feel that you were professional, genuinely polite, or helpful. Instead of acknowledging how inappropriate and distressing this experience was, you have continued to defend your conduct rather than take accountability. What I would reasonably expect at this point is a sincere apology. Instead, you continue to defend behavior that caused unnecessary stress and made an already difficult situation worse. If people with disabilities and their service animals are not going to be treated respectfully and accommodated appropriately at your farmers market, then others deserve to know about my experience so they can make an informed decision about whether to attend. This was an absolutely nightmarish experience, and no one should have to endure this kind of treatment simply to access a public market with their service animal.

Black-owned, farm-to-table brunch with a live saxophonist? Now THIS is how you do a Sunday!…read more A group of us came to check it out, and we had such a good time. We were a party of 22, and they were able to seat all of us together, which was definitely appreciated. The brunch spread included an omelet station, waffles, fried chicken, chicken sausage, grits and veggies, green salad, fresh fruit, and peach dump cake. They also offer peach and watermelon mimosas made with their own sparkling wine from Ojai and freshly juiced fruit. The live saxophonist was such a nice touch and created the perfect Sunday brunch vibe. After brunch, we stopped by their store, where they sell fresh fruits and vegetables, olive oil, body butters, soaps, and more. They even offer a seasonal fruit and veggie box subscription. And I have to mention the service...exceptional! Everyone was welcoming and accommodating.

They had waffles, sausages, grits, fried chicken, fruit, salad, and an omelet station. The atmosphere was just enjoyable. The weather was nice and breezy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Pro tip: it's a farm, so wear closed-toe shoes; you will get dusty. Bring a fan if you get hot easily, and bring your water bottle to stay hydrated. The only downside, in my opinion, is that even though the live performance is amazing, it is a little too loud, especially when you are trying to talk with your group. And while the omelet station has a line, you can go to the other station to grab the other food by the time I sat down the food was somewhat cold, maybe warm but not hot for sure. But overall it was an nice experience and hard to believe this is located off the 14 freeway.

I haven't been back here since COVID occurred, but I'm so happy to have come back here to…read moreexperience cherry picking again! I came here with family on a weekend, and due to the large crop bloom, there was a BOGO deal going on this year where if you buy 1 bucket, you get another bucket free! It 's always extremely hot whenever we come here as it would be usually in the summer months. I suggest being prepared because you walk up a small incline in between rows of cherry trees, so being hydrated is necessary. Parking and entrance is free, instructions are given by staff and they lead you to where to go to begin picking. General rules include no eating the cherries inside, no yanking cherries off of branches (leaving stems behind help them grow again), and for the BOGO deal, you must fill up an entire bucket. Now, it can be pricey because it's currently at $6.50 a lb (.50 cents increase compared to pre-covid) and I think a bucket can contain at LEAST 10-12 lbs. So you need to shell out at least $65 in order to do the BOGO deal for example. A staff actually said that a bucket might cost about $85 each when I asked. We didn't do the deal because that would be too much for our small family, so I think this is optimal for large groups! We ended up paying $48 for our bucket and we went our ways. Good for a quick hour. Too long and you may overheat from the heat! - bring own water, bottles sold onsite are $2 each - local honey is also sold - 2 lbs minimum for adult to purchase - overall fun and unique experience! - always double check dates and times, sometimes they close at 1/2pm!
