The outdoor swamp meet is great. However, management appears to be horrible. I heard from various vendors that the office and administration is just looking to make money without the regard of their sellers. They don't respect rented spaces as they sub rent without notifying current renters. I actually saw this happen today. A daily vendor was placed in a booth that was already rented. So they got kicked out and were visibly upset. Just horrible. I also heard maintenance is sub par. They are never available and there have been multiple break-ins on rented spaces and management turns a blind eye. I really feel bad for these people that are just trying to make a living and management is ripping them off and making it difficult for them. read more

Great swap meet. Just the perfect size for an outdoor swap meet where it's not too big or too small. You don't even have to go inside before you start coming across some good finds like car batteries sold by Rafael who has been selling there for some time now and across from him there is a big stand with candies and nuts. Once inside there are so many things to buy from toiletries to electronics. They also sell beer, so you can walk around while enjoying a michelada but you can't bring your own beer. For the kids they have pony rides which also includes a donkey they can ride on. The donkey is so cute. There are live bands you can watch while you sit and eat something from the different food shops they have. Hope they can keep the doors open for a long time to come, I have heard there were plans to close it down. read more

And listening to a really bad cover band. Recently I've been obsessed with the heat transfer t-shirt booth. I mean look at these amazing shirts! And only $8! Good place to walk around if you have nothing to do on a weekend. The entrance is $2 and there is plenty of Parking. There isn't much to buy except random miscellaneous stuff. I saw a few vendors that sold some good stuff and a reasonable price. I would come back like I said to walk around and see if I find anything but only if I had nothing to do. read more

This place has it all. You will eventually find what you're look for if you look hard enough. Yes, it's pea gravel everywhere and it may be a bit dusty, but it keeps it cooler than blacktop asphalt. Just stay hydrated and use sunscreen when it's summer. Plenty of food vendors (the Menudo is great) and about 5 places to get your $5 beer. Roasted peanuts are addictive. Food advice: Just around the corner about 800 feet south on Pearblossom Hwy is a Mexican restaurant called Las Palmas (4.5 Yelp stars) that makes the best chicharron tacos in the AV. Cash only. Plenty of parking and $2 regular/1.50 students to get in. Lately, they have had a decent rock band, but I wish they would get some more youthful local talent. First off they charge you $2 to enter. A lot of tables selling stuff I would have thrown out in a huge pile for $1-5 each. You have to pick through it to see if anything is worth while. A lot of tables selling the exact same thing. If you need reflective work clothes - this is the spot to hit. read more

$2 entrance fee per person. We stopped in on a Sunday morning before land sailing at nearby El Mirage dry lake and found some fun props to add to our zany Mad Max styled adventures. We picked up some loud old school sunglasses for 50cents and then an old skateboard type contraption for $6. It was fun browsing through all the wares and the food courts offered up some yummy authentic Hispanic eats like micheladas, elote, menudo, street tacos, and pupusas. Worth the $2 entrance fee. It was an enjoyable way to spend our time as we waited for our friends to gather at the nearby dry lake bed. read more

I consider myself an interior designer and I find amazing stuff at great low cost. I've brought all my fruit plants, flowers and gardening materials at great prices there. It feels great helping out the locals and getting great deals. You can't beat that. It's like any other swap meet it can be a hit or miss. Only thing I truly hate about this place is its dirt road. I hate getting dirty. I go to alot of swamp meets and this is one of my favorites. I do advise you to stay away from the fresh fruit stands. I haven't had good luck and getting tasty fruits there. Looks good on the outside till I open it. Rotten. Have fun shopping. read more

Very good and big swap meet there are quite a few people who have a great mix of items without the Chinese Cheepo stuff that has been dominating every outdoor market. Overall I would recommend going with plenty of time to walk around. read more

Being partly handicapped, I find it difficult to walk on the uneven dirt surface. I wish it was easier for me to walk. Parking is difficult, and the lot is especially difficult for me to walk on. HOWEVER, I go anyway, because there is a nice variety of "stuff." I make hand-crafted jewelry, and I can find tons of supplies there. read more

This place is huge. If your the kind of person who likes to take their time and stroll, this is the place for you. So many sellers, vendors, and food. The music is good, and people seem friendly. Though, bring a good pair of walking shoes, as it's all gravel and dirt, and a hat for those scorching days. All in all, it's a great place. I gave it only 4 stars, as the parking lot was full of vendors as well, and their more pushy, as their trying to peddle their stuff without having to pay the fee to sell inside, which to me, management should take care of. The other reason I only gave 4 stars was the political and religious peddlers right at the entrance booth should be dealt with as well. read more

Found some pretty good deals! The vendors were all very friendly and willing to negotiate on price. Didn't have a ton of sellers with items I was interested in but, the handful that did, made it worth the trip. Probably won't come to this one as frequently but will definitely stop by again from time to time. read more

Its not a bad swampmeet, dusty of course. I love to go for chili cheese frys. If your bored on a sunday its a cheap place to go... and if your lucky you can find something you like. If you love dog clothes, there is a guy who sells outfits he makes, he has seriously at least 100 outfits. They have cheap and expensive ones. Just a tip. read more

This is honestly not the worst swap meet a person can go to. It has actually good live music whether you like Mexican music or alternative. A lot of vendors with a lot of different goods generally cheap prices depending on which stand you go to. The food is good but overpriced . The swap meet!!!! It was pretty cool....i arrived at 10am and already the place was packed...plenty of parking....before you enter there's a farmers market i guess would say.....the admission for an adult $2.....kids are free...there's a lot of vendors....they sell old and new stuff....if u really look u can find something....the food was good...i tried a spot that had no name on it but they sold Mexican food which was real good i order a torta goood.....my over all experience was great just bring a pair of tennis shoes because there is a lot of walking..... read more

This place is rubbish. You have to pay $2.50 to walk around and look at what is practically Wednesdays trash for sale, dust is been blown from literally all four points, the food is expensive and no good. Except the menudo, but it is pricy. Outdated playground which looks like it should have been banned decades ago for potential child injury or even death. The live music cannot be any more louder. read more

A tiny red man in a shiny suit told me to follow him into of a tent. Inside there were squirrels in wooden boxes and chickens in wooden boxes and eggs that looked like they were made of gold. But I think they were just yellow eggs. read more

Really love coming here. I've been coming here with my dad since 2006. We try to come twice a month on Sunday - they have almost everything here and sometimes we just come for the drive (we are from LA) so we take Sunland all the way through the mountains and come down Pearlblossom Hwy - we like to just enjoy the drive and then come here and buy fruit or whatever things my dad needs. We also enjoy the raspados and ice cream and music. Real fun! read more

Tons of parking for over a 1000 vehicles, Lot is gravel, go early for close parking. Alot of fair type food and tacos, churros, menudo. Like the old swap meet with peoples used yard sale type stuff. Found some really neat bargains!! Old style lawn edger, welding machine, set of Mikasa serving bowls, drill press, leather tool wrap(10 bucks!! it was a steal!!!) some art, Lots and Lots of tools! Plants! Peanuts! Books!! I had alot of fun! It was a little dusty with the wind! I liked it better than Melrose(parking terrible) and The Rose Bowl(too expensive!) Did not see any day old puppies or argue with anybody! read more

This is by far the best place to visit: The market place varies, and you never know what you will find. It's a treasure hut, a a maze of bargains, not to mention the great bands, and culture (atmosphere). The prices are the best for anything you might need or want, 9 times out of 10 you will impulse buy yourself to death and leave there with your hands full! It is a bit dusty, but this is the dessert after-all. I conclude with the fact that I've been a customer for over 10 years, and I have NO complaints about this place, and that is quite a compliment. 5 stars are in order to this place. read more
