It seems to be getting harder and harder to find a good agent anymore. My current agent refuses to…read morereturn calls or emails and if I do get a response it's from someone else, apparently I must not be important enough for my current/soon to be former agent to take time to speak to me. Anywho, after my premiums over doubled in two years, I didn't even try calling my agent as last year I was blown off completely. I called around and ended up talking to Mary who got right on it and quoted me on my house, shop, motor home and 4 total vehicles. Her quote on my home owner's was half what my renewal premium was with Payne West and provided significantly better coverage. All other premiums quoted were also lower than what I was paying. I have officially found my new agent and this one actually picks up the phone when I call......so weird.

I have been with Allstate for my Montana house for 45 years. No claims of problems. Last year,…read moreafter my agency in Thompson Falls was sold to an agency in Plains, I was told I was being canceled essentially because I was unable to clear all slash piles on the Forest Service land adjacent to my property. They did offer my a policy with a different company at a significantly higher rate. The Plains agency was no longer going to carry Allstate. I contacted Northern Rockies and they immediately saw that this cancellation was not right, got Allstate to change their decision and kept my policy in force at the same rates as before. I have nothing but praise for this agency and the way the handled my situation as they did not know my but still stepped up and took care of me. Highest Kudos!

I called several times for rates and…read more quotes.Kyle Thomson informed me that they do not accept checks.I found that very disturbing and alarming because I had asked several times throughout the conversations I had with him if they accepted checks and he said yes they did accept checks. Therefore he boldface lied to me to try and get my business. He also claims there are no auto insurance plans available that can be paid monthly or even every six months, which most people do.He even tried to claim in one of our conversations that there are no auto insurance plans available without auto debiting a credit card.He is very arrogant and you can hear it in his voice when he speaks to you. What you need to understand is if they are willing to lie to you before you sign up,it speaks to their character as a business and what will happen in the event that something were to happen or god forbid an accident.I would not recommend them to anyone as I'm am sure anyone of you expect honesty and integrity from any business especially a car insurance business as I do.Besides that a business who is unwilling to be flexible with letting you use the payment method of your choice(or how you want to pay)is not flexible AT ALL,they only care about themselves and not their customers or their customer's safety and well being. They also will not let you speak to anyone else about auto insurance after they have picked an agent for you. This alone speaks the most to me about their integrity.Lastly, the woman who answers the phone is extremely rude to people that call and does not know how to work the phone, literally.
