A message I sent to Grange Insurance, to the supervisor of 2 great employees who helped me when I…read moreneeded it most: I've been a loyal customer of Grange Insurance Association since I moved to Washington State from Washington DC when my son was almost 4 years old. He's 31 now, so that's a long time! All those years GIA has kept me safely insured. This past Tuesday I had my first accident in almost 40 years, quite a shock, as anybody who's been in that situation would agree. Right at the scene I called Grange Insurance Association (GIA) and got Tu on the phone as my first responder. Tu was kind, patient, efficient...everything I could ask for in the first person I talked to when I was still shaking and very scared within minutes after the collision. Tu also spoke with the gentleman with whom I was involved in the accident. He said Tu was a huge help to him, as Bryan was also understandably shaky and concerned. Clara Taylor was assigned as my Claims Adjuster. Clara kept in touch with me, always beginning any conversation with, "How are you?" which was said with what I know was genuine concern for my well-being. She kept working to reach me and get reassuring information to me every step of the way, although I was hard to reach due to my work hours. She even worked after hours, taking my recorded interview yesterday after 6 p.m. Before the interview, Clara told me what to expect, giving tips such as, Say "I don't know" if you don't know, and don't use pronouns such as "he" or "she", say the name or explain who I'm talking about. After the recorded interview was over, Clara was patient and kind as I asked a litany of questions I've been holding on to, and by the time we hung up I felt like I had been talking to a family member or good friend who was looking out for my welfare. When I thanked her she humbly replied, "That's what I do." This level of kind, caring assistance is exactly what customers like me need who are scared and either physically or emotionally hurting in the aftermath of a collision. We, their customers, are lucky to be able to have them on our side! Linda
