There is no room for growth or development as a teacher because the owner and director will claim to support whatever you do, and then flip a switch and talk about you to other coworkers or nitpick your lessons if it is not done "their way". It is an unprofessional environment for the kids and people who take their job seriously. Things will not change unless KCA does a deep reflection in the mirror and gets serious about their business. This adds to all the amazing academics that made us continue to choose Goddard Schools over daycares in the area. When Kiddie Academy closed due to landlord issues, we followed Hasna and her team without any hesitation. During the transition, I met with Madhu (owner) a few times and she was welcoming, understanding, and compassionate about the abrupt changes. My daughter is in the Panda class with Shannon and Gana. Shannon is one of the warmest souls I've met. Gana, who was part of the KA staff, cares for my daughter in such a way that my L recognizes it, and always goes to her at drop off, and is sitting on her lap at pick up! There is a strong emphasis on learning- but learning through play. Physical movement, art skills, sharing, books, dramatic play.
