I came here several years ago, when it was the green grill, and I didn't care for the food. So, I never came back. When I saw that the restaurant was now under a different name, I decided to give it another try. Boy, what a difference! It's a good menu, a couple of meat and seafood dishes, but primarily vegetarian/vegan. I love vegetarian/vegan food if it's done right. I started out with the lentil kebabs. They were delicious. They reminded me of a falafel, only with lentil instead of chickpeas. They were rich, and they were not greasy at all. They came with a pink dipping sauce, which reminded me of a fry sauce that you will get get in other restaurants. For my main course, I had the fried oyster mushroom sandwich. What a great sandwich. It was on a very good brioche bun, I loved the sauce that it came with, the veggies were crisp, and oh that mushroom. It was meaty, and it was just lightly breaded. It was amazing. For my side, I chose a cup of soup. As good as everything else was, the star of the meal was definitely that soup. It was a mushroom chowder. The veggies in it were good, I loved the seasoning, and it was rich and creamy. I didn't realize, until after the meal, that it was vegan, made with cashew milk. I honestly couldn't tell the difference. It tasted just like a "real" cream of mushroom soup, "cheffed up", with a lot of extra ingredients Excellent! Finally to drink, I had the mango mint lemonade. It was not too sweet, I could definitely taste the mango, and the mint was not overpowering. A fantastic drink. After my meal, I wanted to finish up with the Turkish coffee latte, but unfortunately they were out. I will have to get that the next time. I was about $30 out the door. Yes, on the higher end, but for such amazing food, worth every penny. Thank you very much.

The service here is excellent. The ladies working this morning werr super friendly. The food is huge in portions and looked very fresh and healthy. The burger was outstandkng. The salad seemed to not super excite but still very ok. The drinks, not a tumeric fan. At just before noon, not a lot of foot traffic. In this strip mall, one of the best food places here.

Chicken Tikka Bowl and Crispy Cauliflower Bites

The tikka Marsala and salad was AMAZING. Very light but flavorful. They were out of rice and gave me the lightly fried cauliflower instead and it was delicious. Great service and many gluten free options. Definitely coming back! Little brother loved the fried chicken and fries cooked in cottonseed oil.

Get the FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH! It was so flavorful, juicy, well marinated, and just really sang. My boyfriend got the salmon salad, which was beautiful and the portions were great. Half an avocado! Service is fast, great spot to get lunch.

At work and was looking for something different and for lunch and on the healthier side. Searched Yelp and came across Farm Plates for the 1st time and decided to give them a try. Once I arrived I thought there was a modest entrance for the new spot with only two banners out front. But once inside I realized I was on the backside, as the hallway I was in led to a small sitting area. Once I was at the counter I looked over the menu for a couple minutes and eventually ordered a Crispy Chicken sandwich with fries. After ordering I realized the lady at the counter didn't ask if I wanted to dine in or if they order was to-go. Once I realized it and went to notify the staff the meal was already platted and ready. So I apologized for the hassle and asked to have it to-go, but the staff obliged. The crispy chicken sandwich amd sandwich was actually really good, so I'll definitely check out Farm Plates again.

Hemp Avocado Super Salad

Got the Hemp Avocado Super Salad to-go. Dressing was light, fresh, and tasty. The chicken was grilled to perfection. Avocado, blueberries, beets, light crunchy chips were a great combo. Would eat here again.

The food is so delicious and fresh and healthy!! The staff is a very nice family that makes sure you are happy with your meal and the place is very clean and well kept and quiet. I have never found a restaurant this healthy and good tasting and low in sodium. I recommend this place 1000% Try the salmon over salad. I have them remove the beets and it is so good. I leave very full and I am 245lbs as of this review. They are helping me maintain my eating goals. My wife really likes the oyster mushroom salad. and the soup is ooh so goood.

I came here for dinner and I was blown away. I started off with some lentil Kebab which is a really nice vegetarian appetizer which is kind of like a hash brown but a more healthy version of it. Also it comes with a vegan dip which is really creamy it reminds me of sriracha and a nice mayo mix. . I also got their deep fried oyster mushroom sandwich which was made with chickpea flour and a handmade their own chickpea flour. It is gluten-free option and I love it. Also the oyster mushroom was really nice and thick and fresh. The brioche bun they use is from Truckee sourdough which is really fresh and light and buttery as well. The sandwich has a really nice Crunch and it comes with cucumber lettuce tomato onions and deep fried oyster mushroom. . I also love their chicken tikka Bowl which is really creamy and flavorful with all the spices. They use white chicken meat for their chicken and it was really moist and tender. The sauce is vegan and it is made with cashew milk. I noticed that it isn't too heavy like your regular heavy cream. I highly recommend getting their chicken tikka Bowl if you love Indian curry. . I also got there veggie falafel Tikka which is really good as well and it comes with really nice fluffy basmati rice and a really nice salad. . I also got their salmon salad which was amazing. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The salad had really nice almond walnuts fresh beets fresh Mandarin and also it comes with a really nice dressing like a orange citrusy dressing homemade. I also like their fresh avocado inside the salad. . They had a friendly service with letting people know about all the healthy options they have in gluten-free options and begin and vegetarians. The Ambiance is cozy and feels hidden and a really nice clean Cafe. . I highly recommend getting there sandwiches to rice bowls if you are looking for something healthy and gluten-free also did you have your vegan and vegetarian options as well. It is a nice hidden little cafe where it could be easily missed or not discover. If you find yourself in the zinfandel Rancho Cordova area make sure to try and bookmark the spot. It comes with free parking. They also have really good healthy drinks like matcha latte and blackberry Sage lemonade. Thanks for reading and hope this help and have a yelp-tastic day.

Vegetarian Kofta rice bowl and Blueberry mint lemonade

Went there for lunch. I ordered the vegetarian kofta rice bowl and mango mint lemonade. The rice bowl came with a salad, the salad greens were fresh and the dressing was delicious. The kofta rice bowl was flavorful, the blue berry mint lemonade was refreshing.

So delicious and healthy! Looking forward to coming back perfect spot for lunch or dinner when you want something flavorful but light.

You could go get some fast food, or for practically the same price grab something special here. Oyster salad had so much going for it, and the soup of the day mushroom chowder was great pairing.

One dude in our group has housing issues and has rare or nearly no access to water, including drinking water. He filled up all his containers of water and we had to ask for like 1,000 refills of their water containers. He also ate the "extra dishes" / seasoning dishes like a buffet. Once he found out this was free and the staff was refilling his water / giving full water containers, he went to town. Anyway, you know there's a lot of homeless in Sacramento. The staff could have said stuff under their breath (is that the expression?) They could have asked us to leave. They could have charged us for the extras. They could have made us wait forever to get more water etc. No. The staff didn't do that. They treated our sort of homeless friend that came in to collect water and try to eat food to keep him alive for the next year - they treated him like family. I was so tired I forgot and didn't ask any names of the staff. But I just wanted to give 5 stars and thank this restaurant that they were patient and kind to "whatever you call" my dude friend and what he did. Not sure how he got connected to the two ladies I treated to dinner. But it's like having to also invite "that brother" when you invite a family out. Yeah, he had to tag along. I'm sure all their 5 stars make it clear their food is great and all that. They work hard and fast. The chicken katsu is still one of the best I've had--light, crispy, and perfectly crunchy on the outside, with juicy, tender chicken inside. Every visit has been consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I also tried the spicy pork again. It's a bit different from the Korean spicy pork I'm used to. Instead of the pork being marinated so the flavor is deeply infused, it seems to be grilled first and then coated with the sauce. While it's not the traditional style I expected, it's still flavorful and worth trying if you're open to a different take on the dish. In addition the chicken gangjeong dish that requires it to be "deep fried chicken" needs additional time to get crunchy like you would expect. I think the sauce may have made the crunch disappear. The consistency in both the food and the service is what keeps bringing me back. I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. I've attempted to come here several times, but the timing just hasn't been on my side. A few weeks ago, we stopped by only to find them closed, with no updated business hours posted. Last week, I came across a recent Yelp review mentioning a lunch menu, and the owner had even responded to that review! So naturally, I assumed they were open earlier in the day. A few days ago, my boyfriend finally got tired of hearing me talk about how badly I was craving THEIR pho and ONLY their pho! No substitutions, no negotiations! So we decided to give it another try. We arrived around 4:30 PM, only to discover their hours had changed to 5:30 PM-12 AM. (The sign in my photo actually says 5:30 PM-12 PM, but I'm assuming they meant 12 AM.) An entire hour too early! I was SO bummed! Since we were already hungry, we ended up going next door for Mongolian BBQ. Mind you, I'm not even a big fan, but hunger won that battle. The entire time, I felt like I was CHEATING on my favorite pho spot! And to make matters worse, as we were leaving around 5:15 PM, we actually walked right past the owners with their dogs! OMG, talk about feeling guilty and almost ashamed! Like I had just been caught cheating! I've since noticed that they've recently updated their business hours on Yelp, which is definitely helpful! Hopefully, this will save me from another unsuccessful pho mission. I'm determined to get my pho fix soon!
