Upon entering, the office receptionist, Jennifer, was so sweet and patient with my inquiries regarding the initial profile paperwork. I was taken to my exam room straight away for my 08:00 appointment. The exam room seat and hardware waiting for me, was somewhat old fashioned, immediately refreshing my childhood memories of my previous dental office visits from long ago ... especially the X- Ray process ( which came a little later ). Dr. Zussman was most kind, as he introduced himself and promptly examined me, while observing my current x-rays which were quickly transferred from my Primary Care Dentist's office. He proceeded to take just a few more to assist and confirm his initial opinion. He then promptly established a conversation regarding my treatment and further x- ray analysis. During our conversation, he carefully explained my options of available treatment clearly and concisely, which was most appreciated. His candor was quite refreshing as he offered his conservative approach to my treatment options. We agreed, shook hands again, then he left the exam room to take care of the paperwork. Comprehensively, the visit was informational, complete, and most gratifying, leaving me with good news and viable options for future treatment. I was so nervous about all the time I thought I'd need to heal before I could work again. How was I going to be awake for this procedure that I had done much anxiety about!?! Conscious sedation is something I had never experienced before and OMG what a game changer! I don't recall much from the procedure other than being asked to open my mouth, and bam I was back and the procedure was done. The gaping hole in the roof of my mouth I was so concerned about filled back in full after just 4 weeks! That's because dr Dianati goes above and beyond in her practice and offers services that help you heal faster than if these additional services weren't offered. Her bedside manner made this experience not only bearable but relaxing. I honestly would go back to her time and time again and would only refer friends and family to her. She is by far the best periodontist I have been to. Don't waste your time interviewing others and do yourselves the favor and get in with her for your perio needs! Though I was prescribed ibuprofen for pain, I only took 1 or 2, didn't need any more than that and I only took those because I was so anxious about the entire procedure and so I took those as a precaution. When I realized I had no pain during recovery I quickly decided to not take medication I clearly didn't need! Talk about a magic touch! On yeah and I was back to work in no time! I wanted to cancel the appointment before the 24 hour window (communicated to me via text; I have receipts) but she told me the deadline was actually 48 hours and instead of a $50 cancellation fee like it said in the text, its a $200 fee. It took me 3 phone calls and an email to finally cancel. And then she told me if I don't trust my dentist, I should get another one which is what I'm doing. Thanks Nina.

(Three to visits to Urgent Care and antibiotics did not stop the earache pain) The two molars had to be extracted. Soon thereafter two implants were installed. Then, the crowns. So relieved, no painful earaches and I can chew perfectly! Also, had Invisible Braces for only 5 months and my TMJ appears to have been corrected and straightened several snaggled teeth simultaneously! I discovered the importance of a proper diagnosis and a thoughtful plan for repair. Lucky I avoided an oral surgeon and having my upper jaw sliced up unnecessarily! He has restored several teeth for me and has always been there when a problem comes up. I recently had a tooth ache while I was on vacation in Hawaii. I called and talked to him about it. He asked me about 50 questions and then called in to the local pharmacy with what I needed until I got home. He also looked up dentists in Honolulu and recommended one for me in case the prescriptions didn't work ( they worked). When I returned I went into see him and he took x rays which just confirmed his diagnosis. He is a very experienced, very caring, and very through doctor.
