It was $50 out the gate to inspect the vehicle. The issue I was having was diagnosed and I got a call back explaining it would be in the $1200.00 range. They explained the parts were going to cost about $400.00 and the rest was labor and it would take about 4 days. Everything they said was spot on. There was no hidden fees and the timeline was spot on. Tuffy's called me and said the vehicle was finished and to stop in and pick it up. The staff at the front desk was great to work with and I felt they were genuine. A day after I picked up my car I was walking behind it and I found a red oil rag in my exhaust pipe. I was a little surprised but I understand accidents do happen. I removed the rag which was wedged pretty good. I was surprised to see a flower and a thank you note when I picked the car up and thought man I would have appreciated a six pack instead. Overall, two days after my fix I don't see any other issues or concerns.

Not once did he make a crack to me that "mommy and daddy have to pay my bills," neither did he give me "the funny look" associated with it. He is a true professional and I'm sure he understands the money-aspect of paying a bill for services rightly rendered. I moved from the area in 2010, returning in 2019, but 2022 is the first time that Mike started working on the major components on my vehicle. Financially, he's working with my wife and I, as our funding possibly dropped and the insurance to cover repairs is in limbo. Now, his work ethic is stellar. Mike and his team do outstanding work in a shop and at a location that one would expect to feel at home in. These guys do an outstanding job and stand behind their work. One mechanic in Fargo filled my oil with seven quarts of the synthetic that I brought in, telling me they had looked it up to inquire how much an '07 Ford Escape Limited would take (if they had, they would have noted it took six, not seven). A few weeks later, I had to have them suck out the one quart, which may have created problems with the a/c clutch assembly, which Mike's Auto Service repaired. I have no qualms or issues with having Mike and his team work on my vehicle and they will now continue working on it. Up to now, my vehicle (s) didn't need heavy-hitting service, but in the future, this gentleman has my business.

Nobody deserves to be treated that way, especially by a store management member. Nobody deserves that in ANY situation. And I want people to know what happened because if it happened to me it might happen to them. I mentioned disability issues because people still stigmatized or are biased about us and I advocate and educate about this where needed or applicable. Sam's Club screwed up two deliver from store orders within 3 weeks. After numerous calls to corporate customer service and less than 6 to the store, with only a single gift card I didn't request offered to me for this issue, the response included "We've given you too many appeasements." I've been a member for only about a year and now because of this and "too many problems delivering to your address" and "you're outside our 20 mile service area" or "we're cutting back our delivery area" i cannot use this service any more. These were just some of the unproven accusations and outright lies by Caleb who refused to give his precise title because "that's not relevant" and "I'm the store manager" - he isn't. The GM Alex was supposed to call me himself but so far seems to be unwilling to call or meet with me. Caleb lied to me today as much and as easily as if he was [insert your choice here] in a press conference. The 20 mile service area supposedly "in the terms of service" is actually 15 per Member Services Manager Natalie. My apartment is only 6.5 miles from the store. I have only received one gift card that I remember because of the delivery issue, a 5 dollar gift card because Sam's cash wasn't refunded after a register froze abd had to be rebooted as I was trying to pay. I have been angry but never violent, profane or unprofessional in this matter. When I asked Caleb for proof or additional details of his allegations either he repeated the statement or i was "creating a hostile environment." When I asked how I was doing that " this whole situation is hostile" - a situation that wouldn't exist if drivers and store employees either did their jobs or admitted they screwed up. Instead, Caleb blamed me, bullied, accused and lied to me and refused to ask his Supervisor to come to where we were or even tell me the supervisors name. Except for this, managers I have met have been courteous and helpful and the store does a pretty good job. But don't interact with Caleb without recording it. He's a bully, a slanderer and a liar who would make a typical politician but apparently wouldn't know customer service from his backside. I had three choices: keep paying $120 for the main service i needed but now can't use, cut back to the lower membership and lose all Plus benefits, or take a full refund and stop shopping there. Going lower or canceling my membership would include refunds of applicable fees. I took the lower membership but I'm still angry 3 hours after leaving the store. No car, so Costco isn't a viable option. And a good part of what I need either doesn't exist or is too expensive on Amazon or in non warehouse stores. Ask for Natalie or Eric if you need Manager help. They're terrific.
