They also have a variety of, mostly local, jams and the like. It's not necessarily the cheapest place to shop, but quality is consistently good. It's located west of downtown Story City at the intersection with Highway 69. It's a two minute drive. If you're in town for the carousel, the Scandinavian thing... try Hwy 69 rather than I-35 for a change and enjoy some fruit and veggies.

Located immediately south of the High Trestle Bike (and running) Trail, this market has ample parking and an easy layout under a pair of covered pavilions. The Uptown District also has a number of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. This Market occurs every Saturday from 8 to noon. Kindness is abundant, and there are lots of overall good vibes. I enjoyed the little train that hauled the kiddos around the perimeter of the Market, and appreciated how clean the area was throughout my stay, I like how the food trucks are on the outside of the market footprint, making it easy to move around and enjoy the venue.

I picked up some cucumbers, zucchini, and ripe plantains this trip, but they also had lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, cilantro, onions, limes, bananas, mangoes, potatoes, and more! The cashier here was very nice and helpful too. Will definitely be back soon for more plantains and to try the mangoes when they're in stock :)

I definitely feel as if they went above what would be considered basic service and were all incredibly friendly and pleasant to interact with. They were quick and efficient and definitely knew what they were talking about. Ambiance: Being a smaller international-type grocery store, it was really pleasant and comfortable to be in. The grounds were huge; the activities & games for the children, the goats, the slides, and all of the treats sold there in the store were quite impressive!! I think some of the other kid activities might cost money but for this trip the only things I paid for were the goods I received (drinks and gift shop products) which was awesome compared to other places I've been.
