Do not make an appointment with this doctor unless you have nothing but time on your hands. Staff books multiple appointments for the same time frame. I went here yesterday with my sister who is just out of the hospital. Apt was for 3:30, but they asked us to show up 1/2 hour early to fill our paperwork. The waiting room was standing room only. At 4:45 I asked how much longer it would be as my sister was about to pass out. There were still 5 patients ahead of her! We left. Have some compassion on your patients, please! The staff of this office is terrible. You're put on hold FOR-EV-ER, that is IF you can get through in the first place. Oh, and they often "accidentally" disconnect you after you've been holding for 6:00 plus. It took months to get an initial appointment and then I had to wait in the reception area for over an hour. The doctor is slightly arrogant, never apologizing for the delay. I see him for my CPAP machine and they have a technician who reads the SIM card from your machine to determine if you're actually using it and for how long each night. The tech only sees patients in the morning 2 days a week. I need supplies but will need to pay on my own for them (tubing, face mask, etc.) unless the tech authorizes the supplies. The earliest appointment at a convenient time was 23 days away. This office doesn't try to offer solutions, just hard and fast with "no". read more

horrible service - have been trying for over 2 hours to call Covina office to confirm an appointment, answering machine is on and you cannot leave a message. States " please be patient and call back". Pomona office just as bad, phone just rings busy. This Dr. is the worst! Every appointment I need to wait 2 hours with My son with Autism. And my appts always changing for Dr. Emergency. I already had to 3 pushed out dates I went from Sept. to Oct and now Dec. plus my pharmacist has a hard time getting a hold of office for refills. It always take me calling and going back in forth with pharmacist and and dr office.My son suffers from seizures and needs meds to control . After going back in forth for two days.Dr. Office said Dr. is not refilling no ones prescriptions and I need to go to primary doctor or urgent care!! What the heck!! read more

I called my mother's primary doctor to extend her referral approval and found out Dr Elghazi had passed away. He had been treating my mother for Alzheimer's for the last 7 years. I found him to be a kind, caring and understanding doctor for both my mother and myself for the problems I had with giving care for her. His advise was invaluable. We will miss him. RIP. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Do not waste your time with these people. I have been trying to make an appointment with them for almost 6 months now. I suffer from migraines daily, so I do not have time to keep waiting and getting the run around when I'm constantly in pain. I have had to keep renewing my referrals since October because every time I call and try to make an appointment one or all of these things happen, either nobody answers the phone, or conveniently everybody is taking their lunch, (supposedly a 2 hour one), or everybody supposedly left for the day, (at 11am? sure, alright). Today just so happens to be my appointment day. So, I decided to call and verify the location before leaving as the office location is in a different city, and I get put on hold and told that they cannot find me in their system. Excuse me???? I made this appointment a month in advance, and my third referral expires TOMORROW. However, A sweet lady named "Nicole" was very apologetic and sincere. However her hands were tied as she couldn't do anything from her end. I do appreciate her hard work, as she is the only Staff member that has seemed to try and do their job right. So I will be contacting my doctor on Monday morning and I will be getting a new referral to a different neurologist that actually knows how to run a business and care for their patients. As I said earlier in my review, Do not waste your time with these people. I do NOT understand how they even have a business open. The doctor is somewhat easier to deal with than his staff. As of this moment we have been on the phone for over 35 minutes waiting. Everytime we call they have a different excuse as to why they are taking so long to pick up. Appt was at 3:45 pm. Waiting room was packed so they had us go to the second waiting room in the back. Waited and waited until 5 pm rolled around and I decided to ask the girl at the front desk how much longer. She said there were two patients ahead of us and we are the last ones. Mind you they close at 5pm so why the f*k did they have us come in two hours early just to wait around. Very inconsiderate of other people's time. They need to better manage their appointments instead of trying to book as many people as possible. It's 5:45 right now and I'm stilling waiting. So annoying. read more

Dr. Fares Elghazi was a great doctor who cared greatly about his patients often working late into the night. Many doctors referred their patients to Dr. Elghazi for his expertise in neurology. These negative reviews are not at all accurate nor do they describe the care, skill, knowledge, and thoroughness of Dr. Elghazi. For those Who had to wait a little longer to see him you should connect that allllll the people waiting to see the best was a good sign of how great he was. How long do you wait for Starbucks coffee? For those who called and called to schedule and appointment and decide to leave a negative review- did you ever ask about the Dr. well being? Did you show compassion for him as he does and has for over 70k patients? He dedicated his life to medicine and his patients. Do you dedicate YOUR LIFE to your job? Dr. Elghazi passed away, he was a great doctor who took good care of me and my family. He was a leader in medicine, a leader in the community, this is a great loss to all. read more

This would be the last place I recommend, when I got to their office I heard three different people complaining about how many times they've been rescheduled or how long they've had to wait for hours for their appointment. I originally had my appointment at 345 but THEY called me to go in sooner at 1230, I wasn't Called back until 130 and I waited in the room until 2:00 so I went to ask how much longer will it be they told me that he's in a procedure and it normally takes 45 min.... So then why did you schedule me earlier?? The staff was super rude to top it off. So unless you want to be scheduled a month away and wait for HOURS then I wouldn't go!! read more

This is one of the worst Doctors, practice I have ever seen. Like the rest of the one star reviews on here are all correct. They don't even deserve that. I personally feel that this time of office should be close indifferently and the Dr. have his license revoked. They stress out the patients more then they already are. I work with Doctors and I have never witnessed a nightmare like this place. I have a family member just trying to get results back and they make it so difficult to get. It has been close to three months since the initial visit and still no results. This place is a jock and should diffidently be closed down. Patients go to see a Dr. in hope of feeling better and this place is the opposite. If you have any business with them your experience will leave you emotionally drained. I recommend stay clear away from this unprofessional place. This is the U.S. and it is amazing they are still in practice. The one star I gave is to much for them. Beware!!! read more
