I called my boyfriend and discussed the different options and prices they had. Our daughter is 7 so she just likes the cartoons and having the cards but doesn't actually know how to play. He over heard and told me that they've done beginner classes there and YouTube had great videos to teach kids how to play. He also showed me the Battle Academy game they had and it was perfect! It has decks holders, cards and teaches you how to play. I never felt belittled for not knowing anything about Pokémon and I also never felt pressured to buy anything. They both were just so helpful and are the kind of employees who make customers want to come back. Thanks for the great experience!

If you're interested in Sliver Age books, All-American is definitely worth checking out. There's a reasonable selection of back issues against one wall that are clean and well organized and a lot of dollar comics that I didn't have time to sift through. Big piles of trades on clearance, 2 for 1. But the main draw is in the display cases. Prime Silver and Bronze Age books, a lot of which look like they're VF or better. The prices of some of them are high, but they're accurate for those books in their particular conditions. A lot of stores will put the NM price on a book when the grade doesn't warrant it; none of that was evident here. I purchased a book from 1968 and it was probably priced a little bit below guide given it's condition. There was also a case with Golden Age books in the back, but there was a bunch of stuff stacked in front of it, so I didn't get a good look. So, I can't speak to All-American as a LCS, and if you're looking for that amazing find that's ridiculously inexpensive, it probably isn't here. But if you're interested in some neat books in great condition that are well graded and fairly priced you owe yourself a visit.
